I HATE getting out of bed. If I have a very early flight I do better to stay up all night rather than get up early. And I'm not at my best first thing. If ever I kill someone it will be first thing in the morning.

I have a bit of a drive into work so I have my travel mug of tea and a podcast/audio book to ease me into the day

If I go into the office I drive to the station then it's an hour and three quarters to Liverpool Street then three quarters of an hour or so in the Tube. I wear headphones but I'm not always listening to anything, so I don't have to engage. God bless Working From Home.

6.55 because eldest's alarm is set for 7am, and it's basically 50/50 on whether or not she'll actually get up then. I then listen for her going into the bathroom; if working from home that day and I hear the bathroom fan click on I know she's awake and reset the alarm for 8.50am to start work at 9 .
If I'm in office, or if I don't hear her get up and have to go wake her, then I'm up at like 7.05. Once I'm out of bed I'm up, can't go back to bed and get back to sleep :fist:
Weekends... tbh it can be like 1pm and the whole family's still asleep.

Between 8-10.30….
I’m a great sleeper and a night owl…have done more than my fair share of 3am alarms after years working at Heathrow, so just enjoying the lie-ins.

I used to be a great sleeper till I had my son. He was a 5am riser no matter what time I put him down till he was about 6. After that he slept better but I was never able to get back to pre-kid sleep patterns.
Now I love the silence of the house early morning before he gets up and the noise starts lol
7am or 7.30 on weekdays depending on whether I need to go into the office. Weekends normally about 8.30 but I do sometimes get up at 7am on Sats to do a long run
I always like the idea of being a proper early bird but I value my sleep a lot too and try get at least 8 hours a night
