A person I was talking to right up until yesterday and who I defended when people criticised them has now blocked me on social media I don't even know why

…I understand that you must be feeling hurt/confused as to why that’s happened so maybe asking them is a good plan…obviously if they explain that will help for you both to know if it’s something that can be worked out to keep the friendship going forward into the future…?…if they refuse to explain and tell you …?…then it’s probably a friendship that you need to take time to think about, whether it’s something that will have any positive impact in your life…

…maybe just give it some time to settle and for you both to reflect…if it’s a friendship that you both want to make work, you’ll both find a way to do that…but sometimes these things have pauses and take a bit of time to unpause…

….well, we don’t have any ‘control’ over what other people do or say or how they act or if they block etc, regardless of whether we’ve defended them or not…(…I think…)…if you’ve tried to reach out and it’s not something that is going to resolve atm…?…then just focus on yourself/on the things that give you pleasure and fill you with positive energy and also on being around friends who don’t block you without explaining…:hug:…
