As-in, do you mind having mobile-conversations when you’re on the ’bus, at the train-station, in the airport or just walking down the street or is it something you prefer to do in more private spaces?

…no, rarely…it’s still a strange phenomenon for me when I’m in a shop or whatever and someone is chatting to the air and I assume they’re talking to me so I answer them and then run/hide in shame when I realise that they’re having a phone conversation…back in the day, phones were held to the ear and in plain sight so there was no danger of being dumb…

Probably?

I don't mind phone calls, and I can be a bit "oblivious" so I just take them if someone rings, I'm not more likely to end it sooner just because I'm not in my house.

(And I'm not one of THOSE, I don't go full Dom Jolly in the cinema or train)

You probably get irritated when someone calls at all. But I’m no better so I can’t judge you for that.

Especially on trains. I usually opt for the quiet carriage for that reason.

They're probably video chatting.

They're probably video chatting.

Not always. Some people genuinely conduct their pure-audio-conversations on loudspeaker. It’s not like I mind, per-se, unless it’s too loud, but I just couldn’t be the guy doing the same thing myself. I don’t like to iron my linen in public periodt, clean or dirty. If you overhear me in a more private space then that’s another thing.

I won't even talk on the phone in private if I don't have to, let alone in public! :joker:

Hate making phone calls, I'm a though and through texter instead.

I'm that deep inside my own head and thoughts I dint even hear the thing go off when I'm out.

I would be very abrupt in public though.
