[A parish council has sparked a row for
attempting to ban ‘lewd’ naked sunbathing
at a naturist beach.

Corton Beach, near Lowestoft Suffolk,
is at the centre of a dispute after a
sign went up a sign earlier this month
attempting to ban naturism.

Authorities accused nudists of
committing ‘lewd acts’ and warned
that concerned locals and guests
at a nearby holiday park had become
increasingly disturbed.]

[Michael Monk, a 71-year old artist who
likes to walk his dog Pepper along
the beach, told the Times he thought
the sign was a good idea.

He said: ‘Some people get very upset,
some people have a good laugh,
some just have binoculars up
there and have a look.

‘If you’ve got a good sense
of humour, I imagine you couldn’t be
bothered, but if you take things in
a different way then you’re going
to start complaining and then you
have trouble.

‘I can see when you’ve got young
families here you don’t really want it.

‘Having the warning here’s probably
a good thing.]

i went to have a look at brighton's naturist beach when it was first introduced and it was just full of fat old men  Never been back at one since.

The med is the place to be for some "natural" sunbathing

Was it a proper naturist beach before the ban? Or just a place where people decided to go nude?

…I think it was, actually…I was just googling…(…obviously looking for a friend…)…and some Trip Advisor posters make reference to it being a nudist beach they enjoy going to, so I’m presuming that it has been in the past a beach for an all over tan etc…
