If it makes you feel better I was hoping some of the non-English ones would go through. Poor Mali got robbed.

Personally I do think a lot (not all) of the songs that went through this time were ‘safe’ and generic options and nothing massively special. Last time the final felt a bit more varied.

I honestly struggled to get ten to vote for :laugh:

Also, and I mean this with no disrespect to anyone, but I’m not a fan of well known songs being used when it comes to my voting. I’m here for unique and creative choices.

The only songs we have in the final in non-English this time are Liechtenstein (which was an auto-qualifier), Finland (which was always going to do well, rightly so) and Japan.

Hopefully we can get a few more through to the final next time.

I think it was your choice last time with Pai? I loved that song and still listen to that now.

Congratulations to both the winner of the 17th TiBB Music Festival, and to the runner-up for keeping things very tight and exciting until the very end. The winner kept flipping back and forth until the final votes were sent in (and some of my votes were adjusted after 1 last rewatch of the recap).

An all around great edition, and hopefully the 18th edition makes things a lot more fun.

Full results will be on the website either later tonight or tomorrow. The wiki-tables will be posted on the wiki page in the coming days.
