when I was small posh people would get an easter egg in a china cup

When we were young we would carefully open an egg split it in two and eat one half then put the the other half back facing the front so it looked like it was still a whole egg

that is my observation so far
I was wondering if I would see an Egg thread again this year. I'd just been to the shop. Our Cadbury is just Hersheys, so no point for me. I didn't buy this time around. Food quality here has really declined, especially anything confectionary, so I only picked up some jelly beans. My daughter loves them. And a "mega" bubble machine.
