My kind of guy :joker:
I also do that :hehe:
I can definitely identify with the living alone part. That makes social situations really hard for me as well.

I can't blame him for not liking to socialize either.

It feels like half of the world needs to be sent to a Mental Asylum.

Can't be good for his back/neck etc. Then again I know a fair few older people who can sleep sitting up.

I think his reasons for sleeping there is probably because he’s just not used to living with other people

I'd rather sleep on the sofa than share a room with a bunch of strangers all breathing and snoring and keeping me awake.

I get it tbf - I actually wouldn't mind at all living with people and sharing general facilities/kitchen/bathroom etc and socialising a lot BUT ... ... I'd absolutely hate sharing a bedroom with non-family.

If I was going in BB, I'd absolutely weaponise my actual health conditions in the name of inclusion*, and say I needed my own room, even if it's "just" like the spare room which was basically just a bed and mirror, which HMs sometimes (rarely) stayed in.

* it would absolutely be exaggerating/pushing it, but who cares.

(And I'm NOT saying Trisha was in any way exaggerating)

Well I would need a private bedroom to masturbate.:joker:

He was on a sofa in the bedroom near other people's beds.

Surely the sofa is uncomfortable for him, he has a lovely comfy bed

Can only imagine how he lives

Well he's been isolated from people for last 6 years, probably quite mentally challenging for him to sleep in a room with tons of people. Him wanting his own space to sleep makes perfect sense tbf

The sofa thing is not new. He's been doing that for a long time.

Why does that trigger so much? Not like he's sleeping bollock naked in the diary room. You're saying you've never slept on a couch?

You did write this didn’t you?

You’re taking about him being mentally challenged to sleep in a room full of people. He’s still in the room full of people…

Same. Glenn must has a sh*t couch if he thinks it's weird to sleep on one. My couch is so cosy, i sink into it, so easy to drift off in it :hee:

I have a very very expensive bed that I sink into. Like a normal person.

Don’t think I’ve fallen asleep on a couch for about 11 years

Spent all your money on the bed, sacrificed by getting a sh*t sofa. All about balance Glenn.

I know a few people who sleep in recliners due to back pain and it helps when they have to get up. They can't tolerate a bed. He must have a really nice couch...

I have a very nice sofa but thanks for showing your concern. I don’t spend my money on **** Swan. I have class.

Well we both do, I can’t take all of the credit. Gay people in general have better taste.

Glenn.
10-04-2025, 06:41 PM
Of course we can’t all have the same tastes. Some people who can, prefer to go to bed like an adult and not slob it out on a sofa. I think it’s quite sad and shows lack of proper routine.

Glenn on the phone disgusted at those beneath him, Argos furniture buyers etc..

(gay people probably do have better taste in general tbf though  )

Peasants falling asleep on the sofa also, ugh, revolting.

…I was thinking about Mickey’s coda sleeping preference and probably over-thinking it…with his Donald Trump lawsuit back in the 90’s when he was staying in a Trump hotel with Tupac…?…he said that he was sleeping on the sofa in the hotel room, so it’s obviously something that isn’t a recent thing, and a long term sleeping place for him…anyway, I was thinking/wondering if there was any connection to it and his father’s violence toward him and his mom…/…if he had slept on the sofa as a child for whatever reason …probably over-thinking…

If I'm getting anything from this thread it's that Mickey should have had intensive therapy and counselling.

…yeah, I think he does/has had…I’m pretty sure that I’ve read somewhere that, that’s what he’s spent so much of his earnings on over the years and in Hollywood I would think that’s an extremely big expenditure…I also think that I read that he still has a ‘once a week’ therapy session but it’s also been three or four times per week in the past…he’s had a very layered and complex life, I believe…

He has had counseling and still does get it.
He's a survivor.
