View Full Version : The jack effect
I must say, i'm liking jack more and more. I get his humour, and i think it's brilliant that his very presence pisses off half the house mates

I think they see him as a threat, Corrie fans ....and all that, so it would be best to get rid, wonder if he will be up again next week

Yeah, I think he's quite funny too. Looking forward to seeing more of him

He’s better on the live stream
Maybe he’s a night bird or maybe he’s more comfortable in and around fewer people
So far, all I've seen of him is sitting there with either a sneer or a scowl on his face.
But its early days....
He's like a little penis peeping out the top of an old man's Yfronts.

He's much better on the live stream. Maybe that's when he feels more at ease, when less people are watching than the main show?

He's very funny, but not in your face. Quite reserved, but I like him.

He has apparently a black sense of humour. So I would have thought perhaps his 'best bits' have been edited out so as 'not to offend.'
I also can't help but like him, despite how little he's been featured. His comment to Michael about how the others don't like them is basically the only time I've chuckled at anyone other than Michael or Mickey so far.

Black comedy=Black sense of humour. :hee:
'What defines black comedy?
Black comedy, also known as black humor, is a genre that employs disturbing or morbid subjects as a basis for humor, often addressing themes like disease, violence, war, or death. Its origins can be traced back to ancient Greek theater, where the interplay of tragic and comedic elements was common.'

Tbf he has had to hang around Mickey, Danny, Jojo, and Trisha.
That would be enough to drain anyone.:joker:

May I ask why? (Not in a rude way. I’m curious to know).
Probably my default favourite now that both Michael and Mickey are gone.

Benjamin why is Donna your favourite? The only interesting things I've seen outta her are being ridden like a pony by Chris, and being given extra minutes to cycle by Mickey.

She has had some funny one liners which have made me laugh. My favourite was actually Michael though :
Also this is the first time ever my favourite has been evicted first. I’m not a fan of that.

I wanted to like him, even still do and thought I would.
However he's just been there and not contributing much that I've come across.
It's like he's great when he's got a script but without one there's little there.
Anyhow I'm still reserving overall judgement of him.

I think because they're both very different (jack and Mickey) to the rest of the other housermates.
I am convinced Jack is being censored for the things he is saying, because his humour isn't going down well with the other housemates.
We hear the housemates don't like his jokey comments, but we haven't heard them due to ITV censoring them.
I like people like that. People who don't conform. Like Mickey and now Jack.:hee:

Of course:
Always been a Corrie fan and have watch him since he was about 11 years old being David Platt. He's also team leader for Corrie on the Corrie v Emmerdale Christmas quiz for the passed 5 or 6 years where you get to see him as Jack. I know you don't get to see him much on BB but that is the case for a few of them in there as it has been the Mickey show, hoping that will change now.
They should give him a task where he can see how many housemates he can push down some stairs
