View Full Version : Chris giving Mickey ‘the side eye’ during the pirate task...
…this is what the Daily Mail are reporting that caused the ‘bust up’ that led to Mickey no longer being there…Mickey’s final outburst came after Chris threw him the ‘side eye during the task’…Mickey then 'went for the star and the situation unravelled'. A source told the publication: 'Mickey didn't like Chris disrespecting him with the side eye and went for him with loads of smack talk.
'On this occasion it was offensive, threatening and aggressive. However it didn't get physical and security nor producers did not need to intervene.
'Mickey was called to the diary room and in discussion about his ongoing bad behaviour, he agreed to leave.'

MICKEY LEAVES THE CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HOUSE
During today’s pirate themed task, all the housemates gather in the garden. JoJo has been given the role of Captain and is in charge of steering the ship.
JoJo says, “Ahoy. How have things been going out here?”
Trisha responds, “There is a rat amongst us, Captain.”
JoJo says, “Step back in line, soldier.”
Chris steps out of line and looks at Mickey. Mickey steps out of line and confronts Chris.
JoJo says to Mickey, “Mickey… Ahoy.”
Mickey says to Chris, “You looking at me?”
JoJo says to Mickey, “Ahoy. You’re not the captain of this ship. Ahoy. Back up soldier.”
Mickey says to Chris, “Don’t eyeball me.”
Chris responds, “Mickey it was a joke, *******ing…”
Mickey says, “Don’t *******ing eyeball me. You *******.”
Danny and JoJo both try to diffuse the situation. Danny says, “He was joking. He was joking. He was joking.”
Chris says, “*******ing stand there.”
Mickey says, “What did he say?”
Danny says, “He was joking.”
Danny and Daley are standing between Mickey and Chris trying to diffuse the situation.
Chris says, “Mickey, it was a joke.”
Big Brother says, “This is Big Brother. Mickey, come to the diary room immediately.”
Mickey points to the ground and says, “No, your a** will be right there in a second.”
Big Brother says again, “Mickey, come to the diary room immediately.”
Mickey then heads to the Diary Room.
Following a conversation with Big Brother in the Diary Room about his behaviour, Mickey returns to the garden and apologises to Chris. Mickey then heads inside.
Chris says to other housemates, “Mickey’s just Mickey, you know what I mean.”
Ella responds, “It’s fine - you can be just someone, but be mindful of what it can trigger in other people, because it’s made me feel very uneasy.”
Ella then references a comment Mickey made earlier in the day about how it made her uncomfortable.
Mickey is in the Diary Room. Big Brother says, “Mickey, Big Brother needs to speak to you about your behaviour.”
Mickey responds, “Okay.”
Big Brother continues, “Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive. Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella.”
Mickey says, “Oh, I’m not aware of that but okay.”
Big Brother says, “This language has caused offence to your fellow housemates and could cause offence to the viewing public. This is not the first time Big Brother has had to speak to you about your offensive and inappropriate language.”
Mickey says, “Yes sir. I did wrong. I apologise. I’m sorry. I can’t take it back, you know, I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. ‘Cause I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry. I’m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I’m sorry about that.”
Big Brother says, “Big Brother considers your language and behaviour today to be seriously unacceptable and as a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the Big Brother house.”
Big Brother continues, “Mickey, is there anything else you’d like to say?”
Mickey responds, “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that. I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.”

I saw a clip where they were in the bathroom, there was someone else in there as well not sure who, but he was asking her if she thought she could stay beautiful all her life, dont think she appreciated it when he said nobody can but you will always be beautiful inside...might be that ...though its not very sexual

Zizu, you said he's flirt with her, try it on, be all up in her business. That has not happened in the slightest, not sure ive even seen them have a conversation in the house

…yeah that doesn’t feel offensive in any way but whatever it was…?…he obviously wasn’t called to the DR at the time if it’s just been mentioned to him now by BB…it’s all very curious…
…I can see the ‘side look’ being part of the task and inferring that Mickey was the ‘rat among them’…that seems to all flow with the task but I’m curious as to why Chris whispered ‘stick up for me’ to the housemate next to him, almost as if he was anticipating something that could explode…?…I’m probably reading too much into it but hmmmmmm, we’ll see later…

Seems relatively mild tbh from the transcript

I do wonder had he not already received a warning before this incident, would the producers have thrown him out?!
Probably tbf. If he had punched Chris in the face, they'd be in danger of a potential big lawsuit from Chris.
It's a shame he's gone imo, but it was probably the best decision to remove him after that, just to be safe, i dunno.

Being a fragile man doesn't necessarily mean he's a bad person. It's apparent he has mental problems, he's actually quite open about them. That doesn't excuse his behaviour i know, but there is a lot of good in Mickey imo. He's just let down by his non filter and obvious sensitivity

I'd say most people on this forum have experienced trauma or has mental health issues, you can skill learn or at least try to learn how to be civilised. He used language that was hurtful, whether it was a joke or mean spirited, he knew what he was saying. The fact that he caused even more trouble after that proves that he's not deserving of forgiveness.

It's with you everyday for the rest of your life.

Well i feel you're lacking empathy. He really did make amends with JoJo, and make any effort to understand Danny's drag act. And like i said in the other thread, they must see some good in him. Danny is always chatting with him, and Jojo felt comfortable to play that practical joke on him. If they felt unsafe around him, these things wouldn't happen. They'd steer clear of him.

"Troubled upbringing" as an excuse for aggressive behaviour/lack of self control can work until about age 30, its wearing thin by 40,beyond that it's just no excuse at all. Kudos for him to admitting he's troubled and that he still has work to do(as some sadly never get there) but age 70+ is... A bit late in the game to still be beating his chest like a teenager.

Trisha the evil mastermind strikes again. Got rid of Michael, got rid of Mickey.
Unfortunately Michael was going anyway.
I didn't even like Mickey all that much, but he was the protective amulet keeping a very banal series at bay. Most people knew how it would likely end though, because they cast someone with CTE injuries, chronic severe insomnia (because that won't become terminal), tendencies towards aggression. And it was all probably well known how he is as people like Mickey are protected in Hollywood. They will put up with extremes to keep them happy and coming back into work. It was like they took all the typical BB candy and put it in a woke Pinata, cast a variety of protagonists that viewers will gush over as they beat the woke Pinata for camera time.
I think he knew his fate was setup to be thin within the house and that's part of why he wanted out so badly. When he was actually participating in the house, his misbehavior just seemed so sudden and random at times. It makes me wonder what was in his contract that made it even worth coming in at all. There's no way they could pay him enough to stay in the whole 3 weeks based on his inability to put up with other people and lack of sleep long-term.
maybe it was in his contract to say something and get ejected. He may even have been told by the producers what to say. At this point, i feel anything is possible
