Yes and she gave it away with her tell "It's not like I fancy him!"... she never actually gave any kind of reason.

Chris is acting like a kid in a candy shop. Hard to explain, but it's like he's never had this much attention... or this much access to people who check certain boxes...

I've come to the conclusion they casted him expecting this result was very likely for headlines on the cheap... I mean look what it's doing. It splits people across the usual divide and gets them arguing about comments that really aren't that up for debate according to ITV's own standards. Many expected him to be offensive and to be a huge ejection risk, but what is most disillusioning is they still cast him anyway.
