They should have asked him to stay

He took a Flight back to LA.

And Worse

Celebrity Big Brother's Mickey Rourke is
'planning to sue ITV for costing him huge pay day'
and 'leaving him with £50k hotel bill'

They could have paid that.

They’re not woke. Well not in regards to this situation. Given, he hadn’t quite done enough to be ejected but C4 and C5 still would still have reprimanded him for the things he said.

This sad old man needs to give it a rest

Reminds me of someone who’d live in that town at the top of the GTA 5 map

People in here coping he wont get a settlement. He'll most probably get more than his original fee after this. Mental health grounds, lack of care, exploitation of his medical conditions.

He'll probably make double his fee from this.

Mickey laughing all the way to bank. The ageist scum cry

Nice ageism in this thread though.

Honestly, if there is one thing Mickey probably has is experienced lawyers.

He is gonna walk away with a nice sum.

Too many corporations are too woke for their own good these days.

Especially his comments towards Jojo would've been borderline on if he would've been allowed to stay in the house tbh.

Especially his comments towards Jojo would've been borderline on if he would've been allowed to stay in the house tbh.

It was wrong to cast him in the first place knowing he was going to be ejected shortly after because it denied us a proper show. I can see that part being scammy, but it's his own behavior in the end that caused his ejection. Plus he apologized.

His comments to Jojo and saying he would've gone off the rails on her "in the past" was the only red flag needed to say this is probably not worth letting pass if they cared for others feeling safe. But they didn't actually care about any of that I think as they likely wanted to give more rope to get him to breach contract with the benefit of higher ratings.

I don't think it bodes well that the biggest character of the house they could find was such an obvious ejection risk from the start. Really, what is the point of that? Either cast characters production can stand behind that will provide the needed balance, or, if they can't do that without doing a proper show without legal notices and trigger warnings, then maybe it is time to retire the format.

I can't see the hugbox formula working out for the longterm. Even when people clash and we get drama, they are often quick to deny what they actually meant or hide behind whatever comfortable words might spare them a struggle session, since even in the house wording matters enough to shift the competitive to attack whatever might cause even slight offense.

BB has made it really simple to figure out how to play up things with their chronic warnings on wording. It's painful viewing and terribly predictable gameplay. And it takes away potential for us to see the differences play out... Ella or even other HMs could've chewed Mickey out at a later time, it would've been great TV. But BB does all that for them.

Mickey might have been used to being coddled by productions and you could maybe tell by his sheepish apologies, which gave different reasons each time and weren't really reasons as much as they were excuses.
