Will they allow Cena to break the record he shares with Ric Flair?

Will they take the title away from Cody?

Tough to call

I don't see Cena winning. There'll be some definite hijinks from Rock etc though. Should be fun.

Wonder who Orton's opponent will be?

The mysterious, creepy almost gothic videos on SmackDown! the last few weeks now have a date for next Friday, and they're looking like they belong to...

Aleister Black.

So if it's not him, then it's likely going to be another recent re-singing:

Rusev :fc:

Gunther tapping to a weak chokehold. A washed New Day winning a "could have been on RAW" tag match, we're off to a bad start.

There's only the 2 main events and the IC match I really have any interest in unfortunately.

Yeah first two matches were crap. Crowd was dead silent throughout the tag match. :skull:

Save us ladies!!

Jey Uso might be even less of a convincing champion than Kofi was and that’s saying g something

The multi team ladder match being on smackdown rather than this weekend is a choice I’ve got to say

Jade's come a long way from her AEW days. Feels much more comfortable in the ring.

She looked stressed AF at the end of that match though - like she couldn't wait for it to be over. :joker:

Jacob Fatu is a BEAST. So bloody good.

LaLaLand

Charlotte and Tiffany wearing the same coloured gear is great - adds to the whole older/younger jealousy dynamic of the feud. Squint your eyes and you won't be able to tell who's who!

Tiffany vs. Charlotte exceeded my expectations. They beat the **** out of each other. Really scrappy and hard hitting.

Tiffany even broke her teeth! :skull:

7.5/10 for Night 1 imo.

Jey beating Gunther just annoyed me, weird match too.

Tag match was a dud.

Jade vs. Naomi was alright but clunky and slow in parts.

Crowd really ramped up with Fatu vs. Knight.

Tiffany vs. Charlotte was fantastic, brutal and scrappy.

Main event was absolute cinema. Amazing.

Looking forward to tomorrow night now!

I had a feeling that Gunther might get beat. He can now move on to going for the top championship belt.

Alf

I'll go for Rolliins to win the triple threat. So I made 2 predictions for the first night. I was correct on this one.

Alf

AJ has better Experience
he should win

Alf

AJ has better Experience
he should winBut Logan Paul is getting pushed up the card right now, and AJ has had his time. So AJ will be there to put Logan Paul over.

Obviously, Styles is far better, he's one of the best.

Bayley got "attacked" backstage yesterday so Lyra's got to find a new partner for tonight. Who we thinking? Roxanne? Becky? Alexa? Other?

Got to just say the whole approach to this match/the women's tag division is atrocious. Genuine teams getting squashed by a random pair only for one of them to not even get into the match they qualified for is ridiculous.

Also - why on earth is the women's IC champ in a random tag team trying to win the titles? Why isn't she defending her own title in her own match at WrestleMania? Same goes for US Champ Chelsea Green - nowhere to be seen. Shocking.

Both women's mid-card titles are already an afterthought less than a year after introduction.

LaLaLand
20-04-2025, 11:37 PM
The women absolutely smashed the opening match.

One of the best triple threats I've seen. 10/10.

We're already off to a better start than last night!

Alf
21-04-2025, 11:15 PM
So the one prediction I got wrong was the IC title. I didn't realise they were pushing Dominic so much. I knew Bron has been getting pushed. Maybe they have bigger plans for Bron above the IC title.

Alf

WWE need to sign Will Ospreay. They need to improve their main event options. Instead of having to call on Cena.

Ospreay is the best in the World. That's not British bias, it's just facts.

Wrestlemania Night 1 = mostly miss with a fantastic main event.

Wrestlemania Night 2 = mostly hit (fantastic) with a mediocre/poor main event.

RAW tonight was excellent for the most part.

Liv/Raquel won their titles back
Becky turned heel on Lyra after the match
RUSEV returned
Iyo vs. Stephanie Vaquer was incredible
Rhea vs. NXT girls tease
Sami Zayn's back
Gunther has gone full-on maniac from his loss to Jey and choked out the commentators
Bron Breakker has aligned with Rollins/Heyman, now in the main event scene

Miro (Rusev) was just in AEW.

They kept him Fit

WWE gave him a new go..................
