If they had shown more of Daley, he would have still been inside.
His personality is really coming through in the late and live

I think him going was for the best. He stirred the pot before he left. I don’t think he would have done so had he stayed.

Perhaps you're right. I am curious though to see whether he was going to come out of his shell and if he did I think he could have had some good moments in there.

Loving Daley on L&L but also can't disagree with the other opions
The problem with Daley is that he just didn't need the drama lol. I like him and he seems like a switched on guy with a lot of good observational skills, but he wasn't about that drama or wanting to hold viewers' attentions. He just wanted to chill.

Though you would have thought that this was his moment... He clearly cares strongly on a political level about women's rights in sports, but... Nothing.
In the historical moment that the supreme court ruled in favour of his worldview... Silence.
What a complete waste of a platform and a moment to celebrate science and logic and women's rights.
The dude let everyone down if I am honest.

But was he like that when in the House?
The other HMs were saying that he's just an observer.

Well I can sympathise with someone wanting to distance themselves from the madding crowd and outright not engage with or entertain the lunacy. It's partly why I don't venture into the politics subforum much. :hehe: And historically, society only really changes substantially when it wants to and, critically, when a movement has the backing of elite figures who can put up the money. It's regrettably not simply a case of one or two people getting on the tv and making a few logical points here and there, as would have been the case with Daley. So I sympathise with him not wanting to make a spectacle of himself over an issue that, as you say, the tide is already turning on anyway.
On the other hand, having said all that in his defence, yes, maybe still not the best person to have put themselves up for the BB house lol.

the thing is he was probably hired because of his views on that exact matter.
And even ifhe didn't actually believe it, if he actually wanted to fight that cause why waste this as a platform?
Was winning more important to him?

If you (the viewer) knew that he was like that, then it was pretty easy to just observe him and draw conclusions from that, tbh  He's not putting on a mask like the others (why?), so he's pretty easy to read, imo.
