Thank you for posting that Arista, it gives a bit more padding as to why the break up happened at the after party, it wasn't quiet as brutal as it was made out to be, I think Jo Jo was put in a position and just came out with it, seems Kath wasn't going to go to the afterparty but then showed up...so anyhow they are keeping their business to themselves which is what you would expect really at this point, I am sure she wants to get home and have a chat with her Mom especially if anything further is to come of it

That's where the age gap can come in I think, when one person is as young as Jojo, 21 is barely into adulthood really and probably easy for an older person to control by emotionally manipulating them. I feel like poor Jojo might have always had adults doing that to her, not just Kath

In an odd flip - I'm actually now less convinced that he does see it that way... I think he might genuinely see it as a platonic relationship/friendship whereas she's grown attached in a way that means she's at least open to it (from what she's saying).

In this case it was a controlling mother, so it looks like jojo went for a controlling woman as a partner. It's a TV show. Of course HMs are playing it for the cameras. :laugh: Many of the HMs are actors/aspiring actors/talent looking for work, even on civvy.

Also, they said they were only platonic, so who do we believe, their words or our eyes? If it's confusing, it's meant to be in my opinion, because it creates interest and intrigue... why else make this big show of changing from lesbian to queer, dropping the supposed amazing partner immediately at the end of a show and parading around a 3 week old friendship reporting they're now soulmates? Are all those things meant to be read as separate events? Really?

I'm not suggesting their entire chemistry is faked, so I do agree with you quite a bit there, but both are thirsty for other things than just an average friendship and love, is what I would say.
