This is the show that will be bringing you all the backstage action. Exclusive Interviews with our Eliminated Celebrities. Performances by some mega stars as well as exclusive looks at how our celebrities are preparing for the next week of the show. So join us tonight with the two couples that will be leaving shortly. Thanks both for joining us, What was it like playing as your celebrity?

Beso: tried diddling myself last night, couldn't so it was no different to playing as myself.

Nicky: a lot of fun, i had a lot more to give

Were you happy with the professionals you were partnered with?


Beso: yeah, I don't mind him actually.

Nicky: yes i was actually, she's really lovely, had been my rock in some difficult training days

How come you chose the song you did?

Beso: Got the rough end of the stick with a movie week Charleston, almost impossible to find anything original and never been used before. You are very limited with the Charleston, and thought it should have been left out of a week that wasn't a free choice.

Nicky: we intended to go for a more futuristic version of the Jive, i'm sad it wasn't appreciated by more people then

Do you have an regrets about your choice?

Beso: not really, it was either that or some other predictable movie a week Charleston that's beeen done to death.

Nicky: no i fully stand behind my choice, i could've played things safe with a different song maybe but playing things safe ain't exactly my thing

What dance were you looking forward to taking on the most?

Beso: Paso doble..I have a tune lined up for that.

Nicky: i was looking forward in doing the rumba, the dance of love

Beso: I will keep that a secret for the next time.

How did you think last week went for you?

Surprisingly well. I enjoyed my song despite it not being my first choice.

How are you finding the competition so far?

Good. This second round was harder than the last but I’m happy with my choice.

Who is your biggest threat?

Too early to tell quite yet. Round 1 was so close in scores from 10th-1st. I need a couple more rounds to see. But even then, I’ll still vote fairly based.

I’ve tried to not use the same old songs that often used, so hopefully it gets received well.

my reason for ''Italy Week''

because the italian music scene is very diverse, and you have quite a wide range of genres which can be matched to many different dance styles honestly

and this theme they had in lets dance germany last year for the first time

How did you think last week went for you?


Ammi: ...I was completely prepared to go home on the first week so I’m thinking that it probably went well if I’m still here…I seem to be still here...

Kate: I was fairly confident. I can't say how that turned out for me. I enjoyed myself. Was a tough decision ranking the performances

How are you finding the competition so far?

Ammi: ...I’m strictly having a wonderful time, searching for songs to fit the dances...


Kate: Good question. From the outset, very strong all round opponents. Everyone is bringing their A game. A shock to lose 2 people.

Who is your biggest threat?

Ammi: ...definitely Vanessa is always the one to beat, she’s the Queen of Music and the Dancing Queen…

Kate: Myself lol. It's anyone's game to lose. One weak round and it could be curtains. Although if I were to place a bet I'd be torn between Livia, Cherie, Ben, Vanessa and Jones. Not to take anything away from the others of course.




Anything you can tell us about your next performance?

Ammi: …it will have ups and downs and highs and lows but hopefully it won’t have any go homes…

Kate: My song choice grabbed me, it screamed "Pick Me!" the minute I found it.

Your welcome Oti, thanks for having me, it's good to be some part of the show again. Yes I have done a few duets in my time, I would have loved this theme if we got to do it last year.

What song would you have chosen

It has to be Whitney and Mariah. What a beautiful song when you believe is. Such a hard song to sing but iconic. And a beautiful song to dance to however it would depend on my chosen dance

Who was your favourite this week

I actually can't choose there were a lot of stand outs. I liked Cheryl's Paso Doble, and one sweet day by Mariah and Boys 11 men is a favourite of mine, I liked nearly all of them to be fair. It's hard to choose

Who do you think is in danger this week

I'd feel to mean to say. But I think it might be another shock exit again.

Are you looking forward to Eurovision week

…I feel sad and forlorn …I have a Eurovision song but it’s homeless with nowhere to go…I do know though that I just didn’t choose well for the duet theme so I can only self flog for the rest of my days…

What was the highlight for you in the short time you took part?

….I kind of didn’t know whether I’d be out in the first round, I fully expected to because I’d gone purely for a ‘heart choice’ song…but then seeing it score quite highly and realising others had liked it too…?…that was everything….

Would you ever do something like this again in the future?

…absolutely, yes…tie me down and hold me back because I’ll be there…any opportunity to ever compete with Ben and I’m there…

What do you feel went wrong with your performance?

…the choice just wasn’t right for the American Smooth, I don’t want to make any excuses but it never felt right to me either for that dance…(..I love the song, though…)…

a very back to basics jive, has been used before on strictly, by the lovely deborah meaden and Robin Windsor (RIP Robin)

having said that, it is a fun song and a classic 8

perfect charleston choice! one of my personal favourite moldovan entries, actually moldova is one of my fave countries overall

Shania Twain & Johannes Radebe's Argentine Tango:

it is a decent tango track, however more suited to ballroom tango, not argentine tango, just my personal opinion, but it is a very authentic choice

a greek song with a dance originated from austria, can only happen on strictly tibb dancing tbh

the flow of this song matches the flow required for this specific dance quite well

and it is a original choice

Britney Spears & Nikita Kuzmin's Paso Doble:

not a huge fan of rock paso's i have to admit, this wouldn't even be out of place on halloween week theme, this is not just a rock paso but a monstrous rock paso, and combined with britney's popstar queen qualities, this is divine 10

Keira Knightley & Gorka Marquez's Theatre Jazz:

i always combined this song with a charleston myself, but the combination with theatre jazz and this song works much better i think, also very traditional jazz somehow, LOVE IT 9

Tom Holland & Michelle Tsiakkas's American Smooth:

not sure about this with a american smooth, it's too foxtrotty and less american smooth for my liking, having said that, a wonderful tune and a wonderful ballroom number 8

Anna Hathaway & Kai Widdrington's Foxtrot

the opposite as the previous performance, this to me fits an american smooth better than a foxtrot i think, but then again, also a lovely ballroom routine 8

is more a song for a contemporary, but it works decently for a rumba i think

I'm going to go for something with more drama to it compared to the last round, I hope that people will like it.

That sounds exciting. What's been your favourite theme so far?

Definitely Eurovision, I loved trying to rise to the challenge of the theme. I do love a bit of Saw in the first round too, but my favourite is the Eurovision theme so far.

ooh I loved that Saw routine. But yes Eurovision was fabulous. Who's your biggest threat at the moment would you say?

Pedro or Catherine I think, Britney and Jack are dark horses in the competition too I think.

Theres a lot of contenders I agree it could be anyone at the moment. So a bit of a juicy question to end on, Who would you like to see sent home next?

I’m gutted as I literally topped the board in the last round so it’s quite a big fall from grace to be eliminated in the next round. I’ve really been enjoying myself taking part and it’s been so much fun. Everyone really brought their A game tho, so it just shows the standard that everyone is setting and the amount of effort that everybody is putting into the game which is great to see.


Do you regret anything about your performance?

No nothing at all. Eurovision was always going to be a tough round for me as it’s something that I’m not familiar with at all. I’m a big fan of Greek culture so I wanted my song choice to kinda reflect that and I feel like it was a pretty good choice. Like I said earlier tho, everyone is bringing their A game and sadly my choice wasn’t at that level this time like it was in the last round.

What was the highlight of the series for you?

It’s not everyday you get to imagine a hard nut like Danny Dyer doing the Salsa to Bananarama so I’m happy I got to entertain you all in that aspect at least

Also last round with ranking first. That was really awesome to see and tbh made me feel a bit proud that I managed to get one of my song choices just right, so thank you everyone who ranked my song choice in the last round.

Who do you think should have left instead of you this week?


I don’t think anyone should’ve left instead of me tbh. When I look back at everyone’s submissions, it was really hard to rank them and when I looked at my own I did feel that mine might be the worst out of all of them.

Who would you like to see win?

I feel like Maru will be the underdog in this game so I’m gonna back her for the win

First I thought I’d head up to Ben’s dressing room now unfortunately he’s not there but, outside his door there seems to be loads of empty crisp packets, fish and chip wrappers and a near empty bottle of champagne? I have a feeling this is where Ammi has been camping all night trying to get into his dressing room. There’s still a little bit of fizz in the champagne bottle so I know she’s been here recently? Maybe Ben had a peek outside his dressing room and seen that she was passed out and has quickly made a dash for it and now Ammi is on the hunt?? The only explanation here?

Now I’m heading over to Cherie’s changing room, she’s out on the dance floor practising at the moment so this is the perfect time to have a sneak peak of her outfit for the next show and wow!! Very sleek, very shiny there’s so many sequins I’ve nearly gone blind!! I suspect she’s going to put on a hell of a performance with that outfit.

Now I better stop breaking into changing rooms and find out where Ammi has gone before Ben files a restraining order. Luckily our Ammi is a bit of a messy girl when she’s eating as there’s a trail of chips leading out to the studio. 1. How do you feel you fared this week?

I did better than I thought I might. But I think that every time. So long as I don’t finish bottom I think I’m doing okay. The competition was, as always, tough.

2. Did you enjoy the theme?

It took me a while to get into it but once I started to search there’re a lot of celebrity talent shows out there and I was a bit spoilt for choice in the end. Everyone did really well, the variety was spectacular. Gutted Vanessa was knocked out, I expect it was very close.

3. What do you have planned for 80s synth pop week?

I have the Paso, so I’m looking for something dramatic and there’s no shortage of dramatic in synth pop, fortunately. So much to choose from once you start looking at the range of synth artists, no one should struggle this week.

4. What's been your favourite theme so far?

I quite liked the duets round. I narrowed my choice down from about ten, to five… finally settling on one. It wasn’t my best round to be honest but I don’t regret my choice. Looking forward to what comes after synth pop. What could you possibly have in store for us?

1. Well done Anne on winning British icons week, how does it feel? Did you expect it?

I honestly didn't expect it, tbh at some points I was getting frustrated because I wasn't 100% sure if my song choice would be good enough. I'm really pleasantly surprised. Thank you to the voters for voting me through.

2. Have you got exciting plans for musicals Week?

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to go for yet, I've got two Musicals in mind at the moment. I will have to listen to some of the songs on YouTube to know which one I am most comfortable with

3. How did you feel about the results being so close this week?
Tbh I thought that Vanessa's elimination was going to be the closest vote of the series. I am really shocked to see that so many people were close to leaving this week

4. Do you think you have a good chance of winning?

I'm not very confident in saying that as I've had a couple of rounds where I've nearly been eliminated. But I also don't see why I can't top more rounds going forward, so there's a decent chance that I can win I think.

5. What's been your favourite performance so far?

I think that Shania's Rumba to 80's Synthpop was a surprising delight for me this series so far.

1. How do you feel about leaving?

Ees ok. I really enjoyed this experience!

2. What do you think went wrong?

I don't know that anything went "wrong", it's just a very competitive series and hard to know what any result will look like. I'm very glad to have participated and enjoyed it very much

3. What was your favourite week?

I'd say both Eurovision, because I learned about it from the first time, and then the soap stars week because I found other things as well as that were pretty neat. As far as what was my favorite listen during rankings, 80s Synth week.

4. Your least favourite?

Probably this one lol If I had the choice to do American options, I would've probably had liked my choices more. The 70s options for British acts weren't my cup of tea, especially with the dance I was given, so this was the week where I felt the least enthusiastic about my choices. It wasn't that bad, but it was just the "least" for sure... I'm OK with some Rod Stewart. 1. How do you feel about leaving?

Mixed emotions. I really wanted to stay and experience all the rounds possible. However I can't take it away from anyone who's left in the game. They are all very deserving and have brought it every week so I'm honoured to have made it this far.

2. Will you be joining the hot tub gang?

No because it's getting crowded in there and I fear for Ben's sanity.

3. What was your favourite week of the series?

When I performed Girl On Fire as Alicia Keys in the Masked Singer for the reality round.

4. What did you find the hardest dance?

All of them tbh. Matching dances and themes was certainly very challenging.

5. Is there a dance your gutted you didn't get to perform?
Street dance which would have been the next round.

6. Which celeb do you think could win?

Wow. Very happy. Wasn’t expecting it at all. Everyone did a top notch effort again.

2. Any gossip to give us about your next performance?

I’m going for strong emotions with my contemporary, so hopefully people connect emotionally to the song and dance.

3. What did you think of Cheryl/Kate leaving?

I would say shocked but every week it’s so hard to call as everyone is bringing their A game so it could be any of us at this point.

4. What's been your favourite performance so far of all the other celebs?

I really enjoyed Anne Hathaway and Kai’s jive to The Who My Generation. Thought that was a really clever choice.

5. Is there a certain dance your hoping to get further on in the series?

Street dance could be good, depending on the theme.

6. If you could choose a theme what would it be?

Great question. Maybe songs in a foreign language or songs from the year we (the celebrity) were born.
