These Hackers have now got a Goldmine.

I do not use M&S Online
But many others do....................

[Marks & Spencer has revealed that
some personal customer data has been
stolen in the recent cyber attack,
which could include contact details
and date of births.

The High Street giant said the
personal information taken could also
include online order histories,
but added the data theft did not include
useable payment or card details,
or any account passwords.

M&S was hit by the cyber attack
some three weeks ago and is still struggling
to get services back to normal,
with online orders still suspended.

The retailer said customers would be
prompted to reset passwords for
accounts "for extra peace of mind".

M&S chief executive Stuart Machin
said the company was writing to
customers on Tuesday to inform
them that "unfortunately,
some personal customer information
has been taken".]

Data theft is obviously serious, but honestly how much can you gather about someone from their order of Cornish Cruncher and Percy Pigs.

Yes they say not your credit card, they think
But they do have your full name and address
and other personal data

The FAT
M&S boss
should send every online customer
£50 credit for when they are open again,
in my view

That would get you a pack of broccoli and a cheese sandwich at M&S.

...it is good though :flutter:

But £50 Free to every recent online customer
It would help the online customers to return.

Forget the full chicken Arista you want their big chonky chicken breasts, 4 for £9.50 (but they are huge), flash fry in a heavy frying pan (both sides golden), turn down heat, half a cm of water in the bottom, lid on and cook, remove the chicken and turn the residue into gravy, gorgeous :flutter:. I'm so hungry.

Hackers aren't getting anything new from the data that they supposedly steal. They lock companies data for ransom. That's where their income comes from, not from individual data breaches
