She caught me on the hop, I had just got out of my car and was poking around in my bag to check I had my phone, when up she came, saying, I am not looking for money but I am homeless so could you buy me a cold drink and a sandwich, tbf it was boiling so I said okay but as I checked her over she was clearly a druggie, a nice one though who called me Miss  I followed her to the corner shop so I said pick what you want, and she said 'anything' and I said 'within reason' anyway she picks up two cans of that Monster drink and I said hold up I am buying you one, so she says there are two of us and my friend is pregnant, so I says she should not be drinking that, so she got a milkshake instead, then she picked up a cake and cream:joker: I went I think you have enough now, the Indian man behind the counter was smiling at me in a knowing way and rolling his eyes, think she is probably a regular and I was not the first mug, anyway 7 quid she cost me with her cake and her cream and her Monster drink  She told me her pregnant friend would pour the cream on the cake and eat it like that.... anyway I hope she enjoyed her cake.

It was good of you to even offer to buy her something Cherie.
I'm sorry you were kind of cheated but it's a good and kind scenario too, on your part.

You are not alone

I always buy homeless guys a £1 pasty / pie plus a bottle of water - occasionally just put a quid in their hand ..

Sometimes if they are sat outside a supermarket I will ask them what they fancy

A few people tell me I am too soft and they will have a nice house and a BMW parked nearby but I like to think I am a good judge of character and often they are sat there with no teeth and filthy fingernails so are unlikely to be scammers

I have woman 15 pounds outside of Tesco’s
She said she was homeless and she was also black I will mention her skin colour because some on here like to throw out the race card

Any ways I’d just left from visiting my partner so I was in a good mood
If She said she wanted money for drugs I would of given it to her

No no no.

Don't think that. You did a kind thing Cherie. Nobody else cares about them, especially this pitiful knee bending government we got going on.

Even if they are scammers, or at least misrepresenting how bad they have it... no-one who's in an overall good place goes around asking strangers for money.

Just relayed the story to my son, he said I should have started screaming and then running

I got 3 people come up to me in Birmingham the other day asking for money/drinks/train tickets in the space of half an hour :skull:

Safe to say I'd never give anyone **** though :hee:
