We got it all. Daily puzzles to keep the mind active, dancing and singing competitions for the more active. Weather updates for seamen Staines, the fastest ex royal navy pensioner still living in care today. Debates for walking stick waggling. A reliable night porter( thank you mock) we are even prepared for death notices. (Bob's :skull:)

The list is endless.....isn't it?

And you can get medication from your nurse when you're banned to sit in your room to watch MASH reruns.

But yes, it certainly does keep your mind mentally active.

Yes, it could well be a Future

You need to work a bit harder on being funny, mayhaps?

Humorous and funny are different things, but I'll take your feedback onboard and try to do better in the future.

I've said this before but some vocal tics just annoy me - the guests on Jeremy Vine this morning: the woman drops every H in every word, and the man has a mouth full of marbles :joker: I don't know if I can watch!! :joker:

Now you found this post of yours hilarious, but I don't have anywhere near the comedic timing to match this, unfortunately.

To be fair I was laughing at myself more than any attempt at being funny. Being such a prick that I can't bear improper speech is amusing to laugh at.

So you're saying humour is subjective? And what one person might find humorous/funny is different from someone else?

interesting...
