…this series is based on Paris Lees’ memoirs/book, it’s an 8 part series and launches today…

What It Feels Like For A Girl is a raw, heartbreaking and hilarious drama that explores escape, self-discovery and self-destruction. It's a new millennium and there's a whole world to explore. But teenager Byron (Ellis Howard) is stuck in a small working-class town that hasn’t been the same since the coal mine shut down in the 80s. Byron needs to get away and doesn’t care how.

Byron should stick around and at least try and improve her town instead of whining about how great it used to be.

Watched the first episode today, it's very good. Great cast, too.

lol Byron gets beaten up on a daily basis for being gay. Byron deserves to get the **** out of there.

Why is it a male lead?

The title makes it sound like the Show was going to have a woman leading the Show.
