Violence broke out on the streets of Northern Ireland following an alleged sexual assault
by two teenage boys who are thought to be Romanian.
A separate police statement from Sunday said they had been charged with attempted rape
in connection with a serious sexual assault.
MP Jim Allister claimed the violence followed a peaceful protest
“Within Ballymena there has been rising concerns about the sheer scale of
foreign migration into the town and that would have been a factor in the wholly
peaceful protest.

Not young men fleeing war-torn Romania?
If you keep shoving these migrants into poor areas, giving them social housing when it's already in short supply, then one or more of them feels up or otherwise assaults a female, you're going to get unrest
Burning down migrant houses isn't a good look.

Handing social housing to migrants isn't a good look either, when there is a stark shortage and the migrants come from Romania. Not Afghanistan, not Congo.... not a country where war is raging.... no. Romania. These migrants are never placed in rich areas, they're never housed with all the hand-wringers who insist they're welcome here, they're housed in areas that already have social problems, a housing shortage and poverty and the residents had better like it or they're Nazis.

And their national team finally won a game of Football as well.
But being 100% serious, I get that these people feel like they're not being listened to and it can make you think about doing things that (imo) is an easy way to respond to something like this.
But the Government will never listen to anyone that thinks that being violent is the answer, simply because the majority of the public will have the Government's backing if the opposition to one of their policies is going around rioting.
I believe that you need to make your point in a smart way, that's less emotional.
Obviously I am a very emotional person, so I fail at my own advice to some extent as well.

So these riots are okay but if immigrants are involved in rioting for whatever reason then it's not okay? People need to make up their minds.

I don't know, Northern Ireland came to the peace process following decades of violence and not just riots, real, horrific violence. The government will not stop allowing in migrants, they will not listen. People have tried to raise the issue and been called racist. What other avenue is open to them? No one is listening.

In the age of Social Media you have to get the public on your side.
Most people won't side with Rioters.
I can't speak too much about the IRA stuff, because they were a problem that were largely gone by the time I was around.

Pretty disgraceful to set fire to houses just because they are Romanian :nono:
It's likely the two Romanian boys could have been any nationality but have been influenced by Tate and his ilk
Apparently other non Irish nationals are putting signs in their windows saying they are Fillipino or whatever, not good

I don't agree with the rioting but I understand it. Nothing will change, no one listens, the immigrants keep coming and get treated better than our own people and if you question it, you're racist.

I honestly hate all riots tbh
Peaceful protests are okay (unless they are blocking highways/motorways/roads) but I personally feel like most of the people who riot, just want to get away with doing an insane amount of damage that they probably won’t ever be charged for

Mindless thugs that just want to go out to destroy things and hurt people, they couldn’t care less about the victims of these crimes

Nope. He said Trump wants the poor rioters dead and called troops "government sponsored killers".

Live on SkyNewsHDWhat do they know? They're sat in their studio. Probably in London. You want journalists who are in there, in amongst the action.
Interesting situation.
In the US. They're causing unrest to defend illegal immigration and in Ireland it's to stop illegal immigration.
The summer is only just beginning. It's going to be another interesting summer. That's when all the people come out. It's too cold the rest of the time.

The original peaceful protest in Ballymeena was in support of stopping violence against women, it was hijacked by racists, Northern Ireland is 97 per cent white there is no issue with illegal immigration

Let's put it this way:
Riots are never okay.
But they're at least somewhatunderstandable (still not okay) when the native population feels like they're being displaced or undervalued, especially during a housing crisis, and when migrants sexually assajlt girls.
But they're not understandable or okay when they're rioting because neglectful parents had their children removed following a baby injury, ala Harehills.
