I don't remember a summer this hot in here and I've been here for more than 30 years.
I'm actually loving it, I can go to the beach!:amazed:
It's really needed, I've been a bit down lately because of personal reasons.
The sun is really brightening up my days.

I haven't got a fan on. I opened the window and that seems to help a bit.

Yeah dunno what's happened. Literally I was cold on Tuesday it was absolutely pelting it down with rain most of the day, couple days on and I'm absolutely melting. Can't it just be a steady change! Gonna have a rubbish nights sleep that's for sure.

Oh, I don’t know. A few weeks in summer of 2019 were pretty brutal.

Yeah, there were some sweltering moments. Guys who have the summer body for it love to get half-naked and barefoot this time of year. So long as they’re not sneezing over my pint, I’m not bothered what they do. Even if it does turn into an outer hub of “Love Island: Wetherspoons Edition.” I’m gucci, so long as saliva and snot don’t get in me pint.

Not the bodies that I want to see half-naked.:fist::joker:

And I can't blame the guys tbf because if you've got it, flaunt it.

Lol. No, I feel that, my guy. I feel your pain.

I definitely have a vision for premium pub-hub with the lads (maybe something between Afropub and Brookside backyard) but those dreams may have to stay dreams and not a reality. It’s just that a little etiquette along the way (not spitting/sneezing too much - pop a Piriton or something if hay-fever’s really getting to you) never hurt anyone. I wish a lot more young men would just know that. It’s less about overly formalised parish-club proprietary and more about people's comfort.

I wouldn’t even be bothered with blokes treating the pub like a nudist site and roaming around the pub stark-naked but I do draw the line when it comes to people getting too comfortable, passing wind, spitting everywhere and sneezing like there’s no tomorrow instead of getting some tissues. Sneeze-particles are airborne and I just can’t have that landing in my pint. That bit per-se really pisses me off.

It’s 19 degrees here, at 3am in the extremely humid Welsh hills. So I’ve got up - bedroom feels like a microwave.

Will have another attempt in an hour or so. :skull:

I'm a bit guilty of passing wind in public tbh.

But I do agree with you on sneezing and spitting, just get a tissue fgs.

Yeah, was so humid here. I’m glad we’re getting this weather now though and hopefully not like this is a few weeks when I’m down the Gower.

My son has been on a camping trip with school this week....in a place with no showers. Not looking forward to the smell of him when I pick him up later lol

…I just said to Annie…wait until the weekend music festivals start…now that there is a smell that will stay forever…and then spending hours in a hot car next to it as well on the long drive home…

It's very warm here too, I've been opening all the windows for an hour in the mornings and at night but it's been very hard to cool down the baby's room, it's been 26/27º in here for about 4 days now!

I went on a trip like that as a teen and even I couldn't handle the smell of my own belongings that had soaked in the smell of river water and insect repellent :bawling: But it was only 3 days, I can't imagine a week!
