Just heard some thunder rumblings. It'll chuck it down in a minute.

We have had a couple of short showers today
I’d love a massive thunderstorm to cool things down

We’ve had thunderstorms all day here but barely any rain. Still humid though and 30 degrees.

Couple of spots of rain earlier but still stupidly hit.

Hoping for a storm to cool it down

I live in that area and apart from the heavy rain we have had this afternoon I'm still yet to hear any thunder it's so flipping hot though. I am really hoping for some lightning and thunder soon though when it goes dark I love watching a good storm. Plus it was suit my horror movie watching. I like to stay up until the early hours on a Saturday watching one. Last week was 28 days later. This week it's Friday the 13th which I have never seen

Best be gone by tomorrow. I'm heading up to Lancashire.

I still see Salford as Lancashire.

"Greater Manchester" my arse. It's as bad as "Humberside" It's East Yorkshire here to us.

You coming for the Rugby?

You coming for the Rugby? That and the two points.

Should be easy for us. Salford are sadly in a bit of turmoil financially right now. Could even end up folded as a club unless things change quickly.

Would be a shame to lose a traditional rugby league club like Salford.

I'm going because it could be the last time.

1 and a half hours of constant lightening last night..when I say constant I mean constant. It was like a strobe light for 1 and a half hours. Never seen anything like it in my 55 years.

Temperature has gone down a bit. Thank God. It's still lively weather, but not as uncomfortable as before.

I can definitely handle this temperature a lot better, as there's an actual breeze.
