I feed the foxes every night, make sure i have food for them, especially atm, mamas have cubs. But, on the other hand not great to feed them because makes them "lazy", but fck it.

I heard some noises coming from the bushes
It was eating some then going to the bushes then coming back so I presume it was feeding cubs

About 10 years ago they would be out on the back field shooting them

Love foxes, the man that took us to the airport said they were vermin and he enjoyed shooting them...horrible

I really like foxes.
That's a good story about the one in this thread.
Probably was feeding cubs.

I go for a walk every night, and I always take a pouch of cat food out to feed a family of foxes that live close by. I had a romantic idea to eventually get them to let me near them, but they're so skittish and just watch for me to drop the food, before nipping in and stealing it away to the safety of the bushes.

Foxes are so cute but I’m scared one will bite one of my cats one day. The male likes to look for a fight lol

Worse than that is those that still want to hunt them with hounds on horseback

Well me and that man are not going to be friends.

Foxes are largely quite shy creatures when I've interacted with them.

Do try to keep Cats away from them though.

…it’s lovely to see foxes/deer etc but I guess that it’s also a sign of how much humankind have merged and encroached into their habitats also…

100% agreement from me with you on that.
Those barbaric lot I intensely dislike, I saw the end of a hunt as a child where I was living then, it has haunted me ever since.
Absolutely horrible that anyone can even think of doing it.

Beautiful animals, you are lucky sheriff to have one in your garden, I do wish people were kinder to them.

There's always foxes in the field next to our house, Gav feeds them every night, they even come to the fence when he whistles now. But yeah you're really not supposed to feed them :worry:

Foxes are the best  It's crazy how close you can get to the ones in London, they're so tame

That's terrible Joey.

I can't imagine what it must've been like to witness something so horrible.
