If you follow a lot of my posts, even vaguely, you’ll probably be aware that I have a lot of skepticism re. what we consider neurodivergence these days, in terms of there being an innate difference between traits of character/divergent types of personality (like schizoid) and what actually belongs to the framework that’s specifically neurodevelopmental (like ADHD, like Tourette’s, like dyspraxia) and the way it’s over-diagnosed/over-ascribed-to these days (and not just on TikTok, either). But just to use Ali’s words, do you think that she *is* autistic or that she’s just ADD (I’m guessing she’s not got issues with hyperactivity; just the attention-deficit side of AD/H/D, I presume)?
She apparently has always regarded herself as AuDD

From what I’ve seen, Ali’s ADHD for sure, she’s said herself she’s been diagnosed. All the forgetfulness, zoning out, hyper‑focusing… classic ADHD stuff.
As for autism, she talks openly about relating to a lot of those traits (sensory overwhelm, finding group stuff exhausting, being very literal), and she leans into the whole “AuDHD” thing. But she hasn’t got an actual autism diagnosis, it’s more that she feels like she fits a lot of it.
So basically: definitely ADHD, possibly AuDHD, but not officially confirmed on the autism side.

I'm not an expert on this topic.
So I voted for not sure on the poll.

That’s fair.
