He is definatly in the right place now, i cant see him ever being able to self medicate properly once out, so I would keep him in until that can be resolved.

Strange case, it could come across as gaslighting, he has severe mental issues which seems to cause him to become infatuated by something. The victim also, probably became infatuated not by something but by someone. Leading her to do anything for his attention.

She only seemed to go to the authorities when he cut off contact. Rather unpleasant story to digest, one which needs to know why she was vulnerable for me to make an assumption on the whole story..
