They don't penalize them anymore, they gift them free things. It'll be a free task to win something that will slow torture them, and by them I mean us, with letters from home on Day 2.

It’ll never happen, but if you’ve been on another reality show or consider yourself as an “influencer” then it should be an automatic rejection.
…it’s 25 years since the very first UK BB aired…(…I think…)…on the 18 July 2000, so somewhat of a milestone…it would have been so cool to have had the same 18 July launch date this year and have had a summer edition to celebrate…

That's crazy. I remember where I was the day after the first show. In the garden watching my mum put the washing out. Only seems like FIVE years ago, never mind a quarter of a century! :shocked::shocked:

…I think age differences can work well with that blend but I’d like to see BB adapt the tasks so that all housemates can always take part without any exemptions…and also a little less ‘children’s games’ tasks…

The rest were basically toxic entities though it made am entertaining experience with two directly opposed groups/gangs

Really? I thought that was a great blend of people IMO. And was a far better series than the other three ITV2/ITV1 series so far.

I would say a mix like the BB5-7 series but it would be far too controversial for nowadays especially when people cry and complain when the slightest inconvenience happens and someone says something questionable in any of the recent series.
We can never get back to the C4 days because of that, so why would ITV even attempt to replicate if it means OFCOM complaints? They would want to go for a lighter feel. Reality people, models, tik tok people and maybe an soap actor, 1 proper film actor and an ex band member.
That's the caliber. They tried with Mickey Rourke, but not only did he get ejected, but people online were calling for his removal pretty much from Day 2

I can see that. I think I tried explaining some of the drama to my husband... he probably thought I was talking about Real Housewives or one of the other catty reality shows in the US...

While I don't disagree with you that the snowflakes couldn't handle a return to a BB5-7 style, I disagree that reality people, models, tik tok people and any other "influencer" or celebrity would make for a light and fun series, as the ITV run has generally done. Absolute crap compared to what it used to be. Those sorts of people require a new format: "Semi-Celebrity Big Brother"
