I've done all the housework and I'm sitting outside with a cold drink. It's very peaceful and gorgeous. I love summer so much.
Which season(s) do you like best?

Just had the most gorgeous meal al fresco with my boyfriend on his birthday eve, steak, chips, and salad that hit the spot perfectly. The air’s warm, the sky’s clear, and I’m currently sipping on a Bloody Mary like I’ve got no worries in the world. One of those nights that just feels a bit magic.

We're also having steak al fresco this evening, once the kids are in bed... I'm starving... OH is BBQing. Well, he's Texan, it's what they do.
I enjoy all the seasons and we sit out a lot, even in winter, around the firepit. But there's something special about sitting out on a warm summer's evening.

I do, as long as it's not too hot
Been sat here since I finished work at 4. On my sixth or seventh beer. Gonna have to go back out and get some more by the looks of it.

Had a bbq today and a lot of people over. Last ones just gone, we’ve finished tidying up and now sat finishing our jug of Pimm’s. The breeze has picked up too, which is delightful.

No I don't when it's hot. I prefer when it's much cooler

I'm still in my garden. On my last beer now. I think it's sleepy times for me very shortly. I've been up since half five. And not as young as I once was.

When you wake up today, Kate. Tell them to do the housework.
It's magic. Staying up all night, on a telescope for opportunities across the night or inking something to great music. (Music is always involved imo)

……such a great thing that you didn’t get those tickets…it doesn’t get more perfect than this, the best seats of the night, Annie….the stuff that magic is made of, eh…..
…the garden is a great summer evening place to be…..it feels like childhood nostalgia and worry and care free…just enjoying the warmth and the sound of others enjoying it also in their gardens……

It’s my favourite thing in the world.
Sitting in the peace and quiet after a long, boiling hot day watching the sun set with a cool breeze. Then it turns into a bit of stargazing for me.
Good for the soul!

Like most others, I spent a long time in the garden yesterday - cooking a bunch of pizzas for family and sipped on copious gin and tonics. Perfect. Apart from the wasps/bees.
