I'm thinking about all the compaction issues he's going to have to deal with after he decides to move it again. It's kinda off-putting and blocks the view of the facade of the house. Maybe he just really doesn't want people parking to the side of his driveway. People pay big money though to put large rocks on their property... kinda amazing where he found this.

It’s a rock in a garden. What’s anyone possibly supposed to feel?

I would say more New Age than Woke... in place of praying to the forest spirits, we speak for all the fallen lawn clippings...

I feel disappointed in their poor rock feng shui...

As someone who has had to help undig randomly poured concrete with no discernible form in order to rebury a long line of fence posts, I do not envy this job... I would probably joke with the hub about it possibly being a dinosaur egg and that we should give it a good power wash and paint fun patterns on it Yoshi style and just rebury it, call it done..

In all seriousness, I wouldn't want to deal with the expense of moving something that large. If I did post it on Nextdoor, I guarantee someone will pick it up as either who has the right equipment for it (people own excavators here, nbd) or put up the expense  It's Texas and huge objects of all kinds to show off in your lawn are worth $$$... you see, in the city, it's not the size of your tiny garden that matters surrounding your modular house... it's the size of the giant rock you just spent money on only to nearly block your front door in some of the more affluent areas... (no joke)... it's a very urban hippie thing to do..

Unearthed many a rock in my day....and sometimes 2 days. 2 days of pure rage at the ****er..satisfying when it pops out over the edge though.
