[Dean Cain, who played Superman
in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures
of Superman from 1993 to 1997,
announced that he has joined
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
to support recruitment efforts.

In a video posted to social media,
Cain said: 'I am a sworn law enforcement officer,
as well as being a filmmaker,
and I felt it was important to join
with our first responders to help
secure the safety of all Americans,
not just talk about it. So I joined up.'

He encouraged others to apply
for ICE positions, citing a $50,000 signing bonus,
student loan repayment,
and enhanced retirement benefits for those
in law enforcement roles.]
