Too many to count - I was a landscape gardener many years ago

Just take a anti histamine tablet - 30 minutes of pain ..

Never been stung by a bee EVER

The scorpion sting in Florida was way worse .. pain for 45 months !!

Perhaps 3 or 4 in 55 years.

But the years and years of panic every time one flaps about you, with their come on then hard man attitude makes them more and more dangerous to ageing men each time that happens.

Saying that though, I did calmly pluck one off my neck with my hand just the other day, before nearly dying twice when I realised what I was squeezing between my fingers.

Wasps will always be the winner in our encounters.

Soooo I was out jogging when I felt pain on my lower tummy area … initially thought it was a sharp label or something but two more stings and I started jigging my shorts around until a bloody wasp dropped out !!

I got lucky as it was moving ever closer to my meat and two veg !!

I know there’d be swelling as a bonus but my pain threshold is desperately low !!!

Only once by a wasp and had a severe allergic reaction. My leg swelled massively and I had to have an injection.

Bees, yes. Wasps, no.

Even though I'm knocking down 8-10 wasp nests a year with a broom, paper wasps are really docile in our area. I did used to leave some up to help with pollination, but then one hive decided to build one in our HVAC vent pipe. So now I knock them all down... We found out during an inspection when the tech checked the pipe, he pulled out lots of toasty wasps. It might've created a small blockage at some point, but seems fine. We don't use heating too much here. Anyway, it almost cost us a new vent (we verified it's fine). The labor would've made it costly because of the labor alone and even though it's simple, it's not a DIY job hub & I wanted to do...

3 times…

Two bees managed to get under my bridesmaids dress and stung me twice..
Then a few years ago a wasp got in the car and got between me and the back of the drivers seat and stung me when I lent back…

I seem to have a wasps nest in my bathroom in a vent, I have 3-4 wasps a day that appear in there that I have to rescue in a cup and ping out the window It's been going on for a month or so

It's the same 4 wasps, they call you the rollercoaster.

Once by a bee....it was resting on my washing line and I didnt see it. I actively avoid wasps though.....I once banned my son in a pram to run away from a wasp #badmum

:joker:

In that moment I honestly believe I might have used the pram as a weapon.

When they sting you, the are all hunched up like they are taking a giant **** on you.

They give zero ****s.

Do wasps poo?

Once, by a bee. I didn’t see it and I stood on it bare foot. :(

Felt like I’d stood on a hot cigarette.

Loads. Not recently thankfully, but as a kid/teen we were always out in the countryside playing in fields and up trees.

My Mum got stung in the kitchen the other day - one flew at her and she thought she’d knocked it away but instead knocked it down her cleavage. :omgno:
