Put this together one night for relaxation time "just because"

Eurodance themed... plan to turn this into a fun bookmark if I don't make anymore changes to it...

These were done for practice as I just recently picked back up pointed pen... (dip pen with Speedball Super Black). I turned them into bookmarks using cardstock I had lying around to help thicken them up and then sent off to buddies of mine who are big readers:

They are Sakura flowers (Cherry blossoms). It's part of a series. I've also put them in sticker form and we hand them out to shopkeeps and other people just as a gesture. Sometimes if I mess up a sheet, I salvage what I can and let daughter attach it to her mirrors and drawing papers:

I couldn't draw sakura by hand without tons of pictures so I also associate it with the color. So it took a bit to draw them out and I took the time to study it so I could move it to B&W... now I kind of recognize it better out in the wild if I see other black and white drawings... also stickers are life...

Technology has really enabled a lot of things, Ammi. Some freely available tutorials and a good printer and a good plotter (cutty machine) .. they make the kind that can fit on your kitchen counter and you can make insert cards really quickly from your phone. I bought one of those to try because I was getting interested into moving towards signage. I gifted the little machine and all the goodies to my MIL in the end after my trial period. She may or may not have needed a suitcase packed full of vinyl rolls (granted, they're thickly packaged) to go back to the NE... (I may or may not have a problem)

…well, technology may have enabled more possibilities but a great creative talent is still required also, which you most definitely have, Maru……I love your designs …and that sounds like a fabulous suitcase that you gifted to your mother in law, I would say that most people would love to be given a suitcase like that and I think that your family/friends etc will feel that your problem is a pretty glorious one…I think that this is going to be one of my all time favourite threads ……

Made this to hold a treasured gift for a friend. The design is my own... except I forgot to mirror it :skull:

It's the first time I've pressed to this material so I had some minor issues with it applying, but otherwise, happy with it:
https://i.postimg.cc/nx2D9y0y/250918-baggy-2.png

This is the second one I did (this bag was not big enough), so I did it in the correct orientation... :
https://i.postimg.cc/rcpt1fHK/250918-baggy-1.png

I prefer the coziness of the 1st bag personally. It's more opaque. I just had issues with pressing it. I did make a lavender sachet out of one of them... I have 18 more of them to do whatever I please  and now also 19 more of the bigger ones because I had buy a whole pack...

I also got some silky lavender drawstring bags for blanks. I only have 3 of those, but I'll put some designs on them and maybe give to child to store her favorite things in since it's a "cuter" material.

Worked on a design to put on a bag/t-shirt, but this time for child... the baggy is for putting her favorite knicknacks in... I was a little surprised by the Rainbow material. It's very thick, but I think she will love it. It has a different effect depending on the lighting:

https://i.postimg.cc/26skYv6D/250924-lavender-bag-umbrella-2.jpg

https://i.postimg.cc/CM8MNvPL/250924-lavender-bag-umbrella-1.jpg

The only thing about the lavender satin material is satin REALLY moves when pressing, so it's not ideal for layering as it will be offset just a bit (not as accurate)...

I have another rainbow HTV to try, but I thought I will save it for another shirt. So I reused the same rainbow effect  It being yellow since it'll be a different color for her to wear:

I forgot to add this. Crimson Dynamo / LT was obviously Taskmaster, so we had this task to try to draw him so I gave him the comic job... hysterically, he avoided NOT showing up to vote & participate in his own final/reveal... so I post this now to shame him so that we can be unburdened by what has been:
