Who would buy a massive chain
like that?

[Coca-Cola is reportedly exploring the
possibility of selling its British coffee chain, Costa Coffee,
which it acquired in 2018 for over $5 billion.
The company is working with the investment
bank Lazard to review options,
with potential bidders including private
equity firms and other parties.

This potential sale comes after Coca-Cola's acquisition
was intended to expand its presence
in the global coffee market and reduce
its reliance on sugary soft drinks.]

They used to do a Great Large Tea (Take Away)
at £2, two tea bags in it
Those were the better days

(That Extra Large now in £3:05)

They did have a strangle hold on the market in terms of some where to go to get a coffee and have a catch up
But there are more and more shops opening up and taking some of their cash so I’d imagine they are thinking let’s get out while we are still make some money
