I have a trouser suit that I wore to my eldests christening that is 28 years old and also jacket that is probably 35 years old , when we moved I had a massive clear out and sent bags of clothes to the charity shop so I dont have that many things tbh

I don't really have anything as I have clearouts regularly. Even handbags I pass on to charity shops and get another. The Samaritans shop in our town centre does them very cheap and they are impeccable.

I have a suede black jacket of my mums with tasseled sleeves, must be 40 years old+,I love it so I stole it , they may come back in fashion, the only thing that puts me off is it's real suede which is not so good.

…oh similar, I have a tan colour fringed suede waistcoat which has sentimental attachment so I keep it but it’s not something that I would feel comfortable wearing…
…probably the oldest thing(s) though are some ties/cravats and a cap that I wanted to keep when my dad passed …I do sometimes wear some of those, they feel quite comforting to wear because they were so him and I think some of them he had since he was quite young…

Its nice you keep those things Ammi, its like the jacket I have of mums would never part with it as,as you say its comforting having their things to keep.
