Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) award

Did you do this in school (usually around Year 10/11, to the best of my knowledge). If so, what did you do (for both the expedition and the volunteering) and how far did you get up to (i.e., Bronze, Silver or Gold)?

I still have bunions from my Bronze-expedition hike. Another reason my feet need surgery.

My son is currently doing his Bronze DofE at the moment. He is going to be volunteering at our local Park Run as a Steward. He is doing ot through the Army Cadets he goes to though so the expedition bit is something they sorted when he was on annual camp in Scotland
