I have been on an Austen binge recently and have torn right through her entire collection back to back. I'd read Pride and Prejudice ages ago but after reading Persuasion recently I was quite hooked so just kept reading them and then just finished a re-read of P&P.

They're all fantastic but Emma is my favourite I think. Love how flawed the heroine is and all the drama and gossip of village life. Has some of the most amusing characters as well with Mr Woodhouse and Miss Bates

My overall order would be:

Emma
Pride and Prejudice
Mansfield Park
Persuasion
Sense and Sensibility
Northanger Abbey

Also very up for TV and movie adaptation rankings. I love the Emma film from 2020 and the BBC series is very good too. The Sense and Sensibility with Kate Winslet is quite strong but it leaves out a lot.

I'm currently watching the P&P BBC series with Colin Firth
