So shocked to hear this although I know he had mental health problems and previous addiction issues. He had announced he was going to fight again too.

Ricky had been planning to return to the ring against Eisa Al Dah before the end of 2025. The British fighter hadn't fought professionally in more than a decade, but had said he was waiting for a "good and sensible fight" for him before announcing a return

aw man sad news
Probably Britain's 2nd best fighter of all time behind calzaghe.
…I somehow thought that he was older than 46yrs old, I’m not sure why…no age, though and a huge loss to his loved ones…/..very sad…
…with his son, Campbell…

If this is the case, i think there would be a very good chance CTE could have played a part. Hatton's boxing style was very Rocky esque also, he took a lot of punishment.

I was very sorry to hear this news, how awful for his family. I remember Ricky saying something that made my Dad laugh so much he could hardly get this breath. He said, "My Dad's also a massive City fan, he's got a box at the ground. Sometimes he lets us stand on it". RIP Ricky.
Niamh.
