Don't think we have one of these yet and last year they were quite hard to find but still find it interesting to track the overnights and officials

Not a bad figure for launch given it hasn't had that much promo

…I wonder how it’ll rate when Celebrity Traitors begins…just over a week, I think…

I am surprised there wasn't one!

Anyways, last night launched with 825k, the same figure as last years launch.

They fumbled the start badly and clearly put more than a few off.

Hopefully it can pull them back.

Yep. That awful twist has cost them and rightly so. Hopefully some people in production are fired and replaced with better creative people.

tbh all of the ratings at 9pm last night were abysmal, save MAFS

the bigger picture will come when we get the official ratings, it’s clear itv are happy with the viewership BB brings to itvx

The launch of Big Brother attracted 1.4m viewers across all devices. This is in line with last year's launch.

The ITV2 airing averaged 1.0m viewers, making it ITV2's biggest audience of the year outside of Love Island and All Stars.

Big Brother has been streamed 4.2 million times so far on ITVX, up +7% for streams vs the equivalent period last year.

From their press release.

Saw that and it's quite encouraging but will have to see what the officials are for the full first week when they're released on Monday

Any reporting of overnight ratings has basically ground to a halt

i think 400k viewers in this day and age is perfectly fine for a secondary channel

i think 400k viewers in this day and age is perfectly fine for a secondary channel

With the current quality, that will drop by week 4.

The production needs to do something drastic to save this series.

6 in 6 out.

are you in Australia?

Lol why? If you are referring to the figures, we have a source on DS forums who have been providing the overnights daily and got the officials already a few hours early.
I believe an ITV source.

Yes to be expected
every 2 days, the Celebs on BBC1
will get most viewers.

Of course, I record BBC1

Great to have ITV2HD 9PM on
for this great big brother 2025

Ratings have dipped a bit since this. Officials for week 3 are:

Sunday - 0.9m
Monday - 0.92m
Tuesday - 0.85m
Wednesday - 0.86m
Thursday - 0.87m
Friday - 0.9m (Sam's fake eviction)
Sunday - 0.94

Means week 3 averaged 0.88m. Last year's week 3 was at 1.06m by contrast and BB20 was at 1.65m

Again, these ratings are excluding devices the ones counted above for week 1 included them which is around 100k higher, so the ratings are pretty identical to week 1.

The ratings on Thinkbox are all on Wiki and without devices so I guess we can only look at Thinkbox for comparisons. The one i posted for week 1 was from a source of ITV which has gone quiet for two weeks now, so I guess now we just have to look at the ex device ones.

I'll report back if i heard of any proper officials.

Perhaps when the series ends, we will get an overall update from ITV about the ratings, and even the 28 day ratings. For example, the 28 day ratings for CBB just gone made the series go from 2.4m to 2.8m.

Bit of a stat is that MAFS UK is doing incredibly well, in terms of it's 28 day data for its first episode it went from 700k overnight to mid 2m for 7 day data to 3.35m with 28 day data. Apparently the highest ever E4 broadcast since The Inbetweeners around 15 years ago.

RATINGS! Big Brother continued last night with another 505k viewers, which was the highest Sunday night since launch!

Officially, after the fifth week, the series continues to average over 1 MILLION — keeping it in line with 2024

Official ratings in for all shows now but these exclude devices and ITVX I believe. It was fairly consistent throughout but as a like for like comparison BB 21 rated 1.07m and BB 20 rated 1.71m
