Cameron and Tate have both been edited out of existence for the most part, Jenny is too polarising considering there is a clear non-polarising option (unlike last year), Elsa and Marcus have been dragged down by each other, Emily seems nice but the jarring accusation is all too reasonable and Teja came across as maybe too forceful politically early on, coupled with being caught up with Feyisola and Zelah prior to the Feyisola's departure. That leaves...

Potentially, but ITV are doing a lot of scouting for HM's so they could just make a point of attempting to scout an older group of people. I hate scouting but it can be useful at times

Richards odds are the lowest i have seen for a while, its interesting to see how he has taken to the hearts of most BB supporters and the general viewing public.
Its time someone older won BB and hopefully if he wins then it would be a good thing for the show in my opinion.
And i don't mind Teja as second favourite, she is nice and its good to see that people are supporting her.

I just had a look at last year's casting. There were four housemates over the age of 30 - Marcello at 34, Dean 35, Ali 38 and Emma 53. And three of them made the top three.
This year, again, there have been five housemates over the age of 30, but more spread out in terms of age - Feyisola 33, Gani 39, Farida 52, Caroline 56 and Richard 60. Only Richard remains.
In both years, we haven't had a single housemate in their 40s.
I think what makes this year stand out is so many housemates are in their late teens to mid 20s. In age order, we've had 18, 20, 21, 22, 22, 22, 23, 25, 25, 25, 27, 27.
Last year, those in their late teens and 20s were 20, 20, 23, 24, 24, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29.
Take Khaled for example. Last year he was the third youngest Housemate. This series, being a year older, he would have found himself the seventh youngest.
Even though last year's house was still quite young, the spread was better in terms of age.

Emily is a nicer person than Teja. Teja shows moments of being nice but she has a typical teenage attitude of entitlement and its not a nice look.
Emily will not win...so Richard all the way for me.

With only a few days to go, Richard holds a massive lead and has the SAME 1/3 that Ali had in the final week last year🏆
But Teja has taken a remarkable jump into 2nd place. It’s the first time neither Cameron OR Jenny have been in the top 2 all series 👀

He did not. Every little thing being turned into Emily the victim is getting tiring.

It was that or he did bail out the moment Emily asked about... was it being a kitchen dictator?... as he'd had enough for the double edged questions.
I hope he does but I'm not expecting him to. Richard is well in front, Elsa and Teja seem to have social media support, Jenny has built a fan base and Emily has had a growing sympathy edit. His head was still when it dropped. He was joking around to wind Emily up but ensured contact was kept at all times at that point. I can accept the joking around may have backfired, as it resulted in the ball being in a position to slip, but it did not seem deliberate as far as not wanting Emily to get the pass goes for me.

Oh yeah. I think it shows he was either not taking it seriously or was enjoying winding Emily up more than focusing on the challenge. But I don't think he was doing it because he didn't want Emily to get the pass.
To get back on topic, no change with William Hill's to win market so far. On Oddschecker, Emily (25/1) is below Elsa (20/1) but I'm not sure if they ever switched places on there.

Elsa (40/1) now has larger to win odds than Tate (24/1) on Betfair. I won't post the odds in full as they've never been used before as a baseline, and I'm uncertain of their accuracy.
It looks like the William Hill market has been taken down, probably when it was announced the evictions had taken place.

You'd think all markets would disappear because what happens if someone bet on someone who actually has been evicted already? Money back? Seems like effort for the bookies.

Betfair to win odds
Other than Tate temporarily moving out to 40/1 these have been pretty steady since last night.
Richard 1/1
Teja 15/1
Cameron 16/1
Jenny 17/1
Tate 24/1
Emily 32/1
Elsa 40/1
Marcus 75/1
Like I said last night, I held back posting these because we have no comparative odds to see how things have changed. I've kept a lose check and there have been definite changes. I think I'm recording these for future reference - is the Betfair market a guide for backdoor evictions, when William Hill is taken down, or does it mislead completely.
I guess Benjamin may know and I've just wasted my time.

Emily was left alongside Teja. Possibly because they thought the result would surprise the housemates more. From a public perspective, leaving Tate next to her would have delivered even more of a shock, although I think most of us expected Emily to go when down to the final two.

It's possible. Because BB is a pretty small show it's easier for a fanbase to come on and boost the relatively small voting pool. It's harder to do this on the bigger entertainment hits. It does look Richard is too far ahead though.

Question do the bookies have to pay out more if a favorite wins or an outsider,
An outsider.
The odds are based on how much money is placed on a housemate. If more people started putting money on Richard his odds would start to increase meaning people putting bets later on wouldn’t win as much from him.
At one point Richard was 16/1 to win so the payout if a bet was placed then would be high for him winning. But as more and more people put money on him, the bookies slashed his odds right down so payouts for late betters on him wouldn’t win much.

Oh right so if you put £10 on when Richard was 16/1 you would get £160 not what the odds was last night

Correct. You’d get the odds at the time you placed your bet.
