Their friendship is really lovely to see and feels like the most genuine so far.

Yeah but they don’t seem as genuine. There’s something about Jenny and Cameron’s, I can’t quite describe it, but it’s warming to watch.

I agree. To be honest, I never got the hype over Jenny during that first week. All she did was smile, nod and reaffirm other HMs' own perceptions of themselves. It all seemed like BS, to me. :laugh: I agree that she has an ugly side and it's becoming more apparent now. She really doesn't like being disagreed with, and she seemed to really come to life when there was an opportunity to stick the boot into Caroline after Nancy started her nonsense histrionics. She hasn't had that kind of energy at any other point during the show. Just seemed kind of nasty.

Yeah, She was slavitating at the lips as she was twisting the knife. Very strange to watch if I'm honest. Like her face had this demonic look about it. She definatly enjoyed it to much.

I was thinking exactly ‘that’ as regards the Nancy /Elsa envy as she has said a few unkind and unfounded things about both

I think she just meant having someone who's fully on your wavelength and the type of friend you'd also have on the outside. Jenny and Cameron are good friends but probably don't have too much in common so maybe there's still some slight barriers there to it being a really deep friendship. It's similar to how she said she gets on well with Richard but it's quite different still to the type of friendship Sam and Nancy have

…I was actually thinking that a little while ago, that he might have a little crush on her/obviously she has a boyfriend but he doesn’t have any romantic attachment…(…so far as I know…)…so for him their friendship might have some deeper emotions…


…all in all, it just wasn’t good at all…Cameron being used to spending time away from family at boarding school was obviously a conversation that he’d had with Jenny/one to one…but I think that it also depends on how the time away from home/family is spent as well…at boarding school, he’ll hopefully have another friendship group and familiar circle etc …a whole surrounding/environment that he’d become familiar with…this…(…as it is for any of them…)..is obviously a first experience in a house of people that yes, he’s now got some familiarity and ‘community’ with…but it’ll also so often feel like a stressful/hostile environment also because of the nature of bickering and arguments and feuds etc …I don’t know if it was just the editing but we saw Emily go to him to comfort him but it not Jenny…I wonder if his tears also were because his feelings for Jenny might have held a different emotion of having a crush on her…
