I mean, most seem fine, some im a bit unsure of, but no one really grabs me atm. Teja does seem very sweet, and George is just full of sh!thousery which will make him an entertaining HM for sure. But yeah, can't really fully support anyone atm. Early days still i guess.

Do you think this'll be the last series then?

Wasn’t it confirmed a few weeks ago it’s been renewed again?

Yeah, BB messing with things so early in the series doesn't bode well for the show tbh

I like some but I have no favourites too. Teja was the first one I warmed to but no one is standing out for me yet

Normally takes me a week, everyone is always acting up a bit at this point (not always deliberately, it's just what being thrown into that environment can do)

Whether you agree with her politics or not, after watching Emily's interview on L&L just now, i feel we've missed out on someone with so much potential as HM

Yeah. I don’t reckon she would have lasted long but she was at least more interesting than many of the others and likely would have had the first argument.

Agreed, she would have made for such an entertaining HM.

…well it’s a bit longer this time so it’s a bit more of a marathon and not a sprint, as they say…this is just a first week of getting to know them and cool to hold off on support/favourites for the moment…

…hmmmmm, now knowing that Carolyn is quite good friends with Nigel Farage…?..I do wonder if they were both chosen to clash or have some lively debates because wasn’t Emily…(…mistakenly…)…reported as being the milkshake girl who threw milkshake at Nigel Farage…

Im honestly not sure, im just going on her interview on L&L, i feel we've really missed out. Im all for the house getting on and having fun, but lets face it, we all love watching HM's get pissed off and having a good row  Emily would have brought that kinda thing to the table.

In saying all that, im really hoping this series isn't dominated by politics though.

…yeah, I just didn’t want anyone to go and still feel that maybe they have a plan to bring her back at some point…?…but we do always say every season, ughhhhh…that housemate would have added so much and should have stayed…!!!!!!…which is true, she would have added whatever her character is but we still generally have a great season and don’t lose anything when a housemate goes…it’s just a different house is all, but still all of the ingredients for a great season….

I have this niggling feeling that one of the twists they have referred to may be to let her re-enter the house at the expense of either Caroline or Sam with Emily making the decision face to face/s

George and Caroline are the only ones who aren't afraid to speak their mind and only one's worthy of support at the moment.

The impression I get is that we’re not watching actual people, actual characters this season. At-least the personalities of last year (with the blandest of exceptions) were well-drawn in a way that could be gleamed on-screen, whether you liked them or not. I haven’t seen much of this series yet but it just feels like I’m staring at a great-big wall of nothing. I don’t see how it’s going to keep most people entertained for a whole series.

In total fairness, I too felt like that at this point in last year's series. I couldn't get a read on most of them for that first week, they were all so dull. Even Ali hadn't yet started to sap the house of all its happiness and innocence. :hehe:

Interesting you say that as I often wonder why they don’t provide the house with a table tennis set / pool table/ dart board and darts / badminton set or a general knowledge card game ..

Just something where they could compete against each other .

One of my most vivid , enjoyable memories is of the time one series used rolled up paper and frying pans to have a tennis tournament!!

I seem to recall Brian Dowling either playing or doing a funny commentary ..

They could also play a dance track every hour just to liven things up - they could even reward the best dancer each hour with a sweet treat ..

Yeah, I suppose. I’ll take it as it comes, when I get ’round to catching it up properly, over the weekend.
