View Full Version : Richard lied to Caroline

Richard lied to Caroline when talking about Gani being up. He said his decision for the second nomination he fought his corner but was overruled.
But it was him championing for Gani to be the person up as Fayisola and George wanted Elsa. :nono:

He shouldn't even be discussing it.

Yeah. Richard carries that on and I’ll go off him pretty quickly.

Richard is a snake... he's the kind that dobs you in to HR for leaving a coffee cup out on the side.

Richard's hoping to rely on the David Attenborough voice to get away with sneaky behaviour from the public.
I don't like him though, and I mean I really don't like him.
He would be my first red flag Housemate that I have found in this series so far for myself.
Midday is like the worst time for me to follow live stream, but even I could tell he was waffling around in his explanations of things... I don't understand why he's so worried what other people might think of his suggestions. How is he going to handle face-to-face noms?...

Yeah I thought this too as he did try to get the Zelah decision reversed

No he specifically said it about this one as he was going on about the interviews as well.
He was on about his request to reverse the first evil eye pick of Zelah, that's why he said the big boss over ruled him.
He's gettting on my tits now though, self righteous prick imo.

If he was he was still being sneaky because obviously Caroline is going to assume he meant Gani since that just happened and everyone was reacting to the new evil eye not last nights one. i think he knew what he was doing, if he got pulled up on it he could just say "oh i meant Zelah not Gani"

Also why did he think he could over rule the decision that they already made, by himself without even checking that the other 3 would be ok with that? That would have been a horrible thing to do to the new recipient of Zelahs eye as well and would probably make Zelah feel awful too
when was there a rule that hm's must tell the truth?

Yea I picked up on that too. Unless they had spoken about it and it just wasn't shown I guess

Richard lied, Caroline grabbed it with both hands and ran with it. Not a fan of either of these two so that probably colours my judgement.

tbf to her Gani is her best buddy in there so I can see why that would have annoyed her

…can you imagine it…now that we’ve got to know you all a bit more, we’d like to give ……….the evil eye instead of Zelah…/…as if the cruelty of it all has not been enough…

Exactly, I don't know what Richard was thinking even suggesting that tbh

…I really disliked the whole thing of there not being nominations and the four newbies deciding who would face the eviction and Richard deciding that the way they would do it is basically to get the housemates to nominate to them…which is what BB had decided wouldn’t happen…I would have refused to say who I wanted most to say and least to stay…as it’s also effectively discussing nominations…awful plan but they all went along with it…

Yeah I was thinking that too, i would have told them no I'm not doing this, just because they had to make a choice doesn't mean they get to order the other HMs around and put them in that position (although, I wouldn't be surprised if this was a "suggestion" made by the producers either)

True, they have always been free to lie.
But in return we have always been free to judge them on their lies.
It's kind of the basis of the show.

Yes !!
I was actually shocked that the others all agreed with this turn of events ..
If nothing else it made them all a tad vulnerable as the FOUR now know who the others like / dislike and may / may not use it against them in the future or at best let the details slip in future conversations ..

Also, from what they showed it didn't even seem like many people picked Gani either so they didn't even use what the HMs said, it was just an information farming exercise

Yep, that and a blame shield. Richard knew exactly what he was doing.

More people picked Elsa. I think Gani got one vs Elsa three or four. But Cameron B thinking with his dick wanted to save her. And I think Richard just doesn’t like Gani.

Don't like how it was made out Gani was annoying people with his dancing when only one person even voted for him.

Yeah, and everyone seemed shocked he was picked. I wouldn’t have minded as much if normal noms happened too, but having a head to head based on the four new comers who were exempt even though they only arrived a day later is ridiculous.

Yeah, that's the first 2 evictions now where they've messed around and gotten rid of people unfairly

Yes I wondered that as well … unless he had already mentioned what he was proposing to do to the other three beforehand- we don’t see everything plus none of the three showed any surprise or shock which suggests that they knew ..

I agree...it was a cop out and BB should have not allowed it as its pretty much discussing nominations because we get an insight into their personal nominations. Someone should have spoken up and got the others to agree not to give them info....trouble was, anyone who might have done that may have made themselves vulnerable for nomination

The thing is, those 4 now go into the first round of nominations with a slight advantage. They know at least one person all the others want out and will likely vote for.

Yeah but they know for example Cameron K is likely to get a lot of votes as will Elsa, so they could easily vote those two to ensure they keep the most nominations.

He does seem a bit sneaky, but I also got the impression that conversation was a misunderstanding of crossed wires. Caroline thought he was saying he fought for Gani ,but what he meant was he regretted agreeing to put Zelah up . That's how I understood it
But of course when Caroline is telling George ,George is happy to basically say it's a load of rubbish .
