Did I hear her say last night that she wants her womb removed so, Yay! No more periods.
Tell me I didn't hear right.
Why on earth would she want to do that ??
Health reasons ?
Or is she transitioning into whatever ??
Honestly have no idea .. I admit to being completely ignorant on this trans topic

I can't be the only one who heard it and I'm pretty sure I didn't make it up. Probably going to have to go to catch up.

Yea that's what she said
I was meant to be getting that done a couple months ago but they just did bladder repair instead :bored:

I think she said it to say she would love to have no more periods, but wouldn't do it cause she would lose the chance to have a baby.

Seems like a real dumb arse thing to say.

I presumed she meant she was having it removed for a medical reason and the "yay no more periods" was just a kind of a lighthearted comment kind of a thing? Or maybe she's getting it removed because she suffers badly with endometriosis and in that case it would be a definite deserved "Yay, no more periods!" I don't think they would remove her womb for no medical reason

Well, they remove healthy breasts. It just seemed both a strange convo, and a strange way of having that convo. I don't wish illness for her, in fact I quite like her, but I do hope it's not something someone would do on a whim. I found the conversation unsettling.

Well, they remove healthy breasts.
They refused to remove my mam's when she had cancer. It was almost definite to come back in her remaining breast but they said they would do a reconstruction but not remove the (currently) healthy one, so she had to go private. This is part of why it annoys me that they do in fact remove healthy breasts if the T word is mentioned
I tend to zone out when she is talking. I'm finding i'm doing that quite a lot with this years selection of hm's

The conversation did have an air of trying to relate to Telah though I thought, it's the second time she's done that too

That's appalling.
…it was Zelah who said first that having a no more periods life was a great thing about transitioning and Feyisola just really seemed to be saying Yay!…and agreeing in attaching to a positive…but we don’t really know if it’s something that she’s doing because she’s already battled cancer and there may be some family history that has decided her to make that decision, that’s quite common also/or not that unusual…it was a good conversation in her saying also that she would like to have children but there are options to do that in other ways ….
…this is a bit of the conversation that was had with Zelah…

I thought she said top surgery but I misheard her. I was told she has medical reasons to why she’s having the surgery by some people on here.

Just watching that part of the show
Zelah said losing her womb meant no more periods ( cue mini celebration) but then she said
“‘Well that’s so exciting about my surgery .. getting my womb removed … no more fcukin periods !! “

I'm guessing it's either health reasons or perhaps she doesn't want to naturally get pregnant, not sure as she didn't elaborate :conf:. But a hysterectomy is a huge decision,so I can't see her just doing it for the sake of it .
