I've been watching old BB7 and BB6 videos, and came across a few Lesley clips.
Can I just ask, why the hell didn't Lesley get the same treatment Jade did? Just because Sam was English.
Lesley was a disgusting, vile, bully, and the biggest bully i've ever witnessed on Big Brother.
Saying 'I swear one of these days im just gonna have to knock her out'
'At the end of the day ill be waiting for you love'
Sam also said she felt 'scared' by Lesley.
Imo thats alot worse than Jade and Shilpa, or Grace vs Susie or whatever.
This is really random, but can anyone see where Im coming from?
Yea, i know what you mean, but I think the difference between Lesley and Jade is that Jade was made out to be racist, whereas Lesley wasn't.

I see exactly where you're coming from, and I don't understand why Lesley wasn't treated as badly. I remember Derek being a bit involved in picking on Sam too, and I even remember a racist remark he made at Science and he was loved by the public. There were no complaints or very little compared to how many there were for Jade's bullying.
The complaints for stuff like that only ever started since CBB5, because there were other examples of vile behaviour that nothing was done about in other series. In BB7, Richard and Sezer were the ringleaders in bullying Shahbaz, and a few other housemates joined in at times, yet nothing was done about that.
And even this year it's happening. I like Charley, but I would say she "bullied" Brian the other night by saying he looked pathetic, taunting him to provoke a further reaction. Also, Gerry has threatened to make someone else "crack" by slagging them off for their weight and constantly makes sly remarks and taunts and teases on a regular basis to get a reaction from people. Yet nothing was done about any of that.
If there is racism people complain and there is an uproar, and rightly so, which is probably why Jade was treated so badly as her bullying was seen as racist bullying. But if it's just bullying that doesn't seem to have racist motives, it isn't seen to be as bad when in fact it is still awful and shouldn't be tolerated.

If I had Karma on i'd give you it, that was a great post
Another example is Pete Burns and Jodie Marsh.
The only reason that wasnt treated as seriously was because Jodie Marsh isnt popular

Another point is that Jade Goody was a so-called celebrity who depends on public support of her 'career' whereas ordinary housemates are generally allowed to go back to their previous lives after the show finishes, if they wish.

I agree with you. I think the treatment Shilpa got in CBB was terrible but the way Lesley treated Sam was just as bad. Also, Pete Burns bullying Jodie was horrible to watch imo but most people found this funny and saying Jodie was an attention seeker for crying.

The reason was that Sam wasn't particularly liked by the vast majority of the public. Lesley behaviour was seen more as jealous and bitchy than being a bully. The Pete and Traci incident from CBB4 was undoubtedly bullying. "Attacking" somebody "for the hell of it" is bullying" is truly unacceptable and its shocking that BB didn't bring him up on his behaviour. I'm thinking maybe BB was scared Pete wouldn't take it and just walk out. Pete was seen as TV gold to some people and its shocking that he mad eit into 5th place. Although i will be the first to put my hand up and say some of Petes one liners had me stiches.

Lesley was just jealous, and i dont think she actually meant what she said. She was just angry at the time.
She had the biggest boobs in huddersfield... Proved on BBLB! :spin2:
