Big Brother are not arranging them so what can they do but show show footage of the house interactions that will probably show some aspects of a relationship

There’s a difference between showing small parts of it and then focusing on it. They’re literally gagging for a showmance on L&L.

I would watch love island if I wanted to see that. The odd one that comes across genuine I don't mind aslong as it's not all we see but most seem fake

I’d be interested to see some actual facts or details rather than heresay .

Granted the JoJo and Chris relationship got very tedious and it probably felt worse because everyone assumed ( incorrectly) that it was a fake showmance .

Anyway don’t think we are seeing that muchof this latest romance

The housemates know it gives them a good amount of screen time...cut the supply and it will soon stop.

I am not saying people cannot connect in the house, but honestly its just two much 3 days in and Elsa is crying and gnashing and telling Marcus he is being distant, she knows bog all about him, maybe if they gave showmances less air time HMs would not be so keen to get involved

Yeah ok Zizu. For someone who claims to be so observant you seem not to be.

Absolutely yes.
It ruins any series, for me it does anyhow.

I cannot stand them.

Oddly enough I often pick up on the little things , minor details which are sometimes overlooked by others - whilst maybe missing the obvious .

Anyways , I really don’t know why you harbour such apparent hatred towards me - you seem to delight in finding fault with anything I say or the slightest mistake .

I only share my thoughts and feelings in here and rarely get personal unless it’s retaliation

It’s not healthy !!

Have a series wide task where Elsa and Marcus can't be within 4 feet of each other, even during other tasks. That'd be funny, watching the HMs trip over themselves trying to work through a hectic, high pressure task while also having to be hypervigilant of the proximity between the two. And it'd relieve us viewers of the burden of having to suffer through the vomit inducing showmance crap.

…I mean, I don’t generally like the jail idea for things like nomination talk etc and some rule breaks …I think if housemates discuss nominations then they should be prevented from nominating that week or automatically receive a ‘BB nomination’ themselves….but for Bb romances, though…?…bring on the jails and imprison each in separate ones until they agree to STOP …(…until they leave the house…)….

Put don't care partly because it's sometimes interesting and partly because I think the producers often don't have much choice especially when there's a dearth of other decent content or storylines. A showmance is such a reliable topic for discussion

I posted a list yesterday suggesting that they may indeed separate all the ‘couples’ including the close friends when they split the household today

So Elsa / Marcus
Jenny / Cameron Farmer
Fayisola / Zelah
Tate / Cameron Lurch

Etc etc

I would hang in there though Benjamin as I think this one might turn sour very quickly particularly if Marcus decides Nancy is more his thing ....

Its ok if it's a 14 week series, or maybe the tail end of a 7 week series.

But 2 days in...away and boil your heads.

Yes, they take up far too much screen time and ruin it.

I don’t care either way, sometimes I think it works and it’s a natural thing for folk to flirt and get close,

Yes.

But it's not the biggest issue that this series is suffering from.

Yup. Waste of time and it takes away the cast mates opportunity to shine
