View Full Version : George reveals why he was ejected
hmmm i think many high profile MP's have said worse, but it is diving into conspiracies

It sounds like his views on this were just too nuanced to be packaged into a montage with music over the top.
In reality it was probably the standing with Israel that broke the camel's back.
Most lefties these days agree that Zionist global influence is a problem (not my words, just what I have seen the left and their Islamic allies say) so I can't see the producers caring much about that.

Then why did BB bother putting him in the house? , they knew what George's views were ,yet they still put him in to then remove him....make it make sense :conf:.
I'm not actually watching the interview but wonder what he means by being rage baited by the Wolfpack
It sounds a bit dodge to me, playing into classic conspiracies and saying that anti-Semitism could be justified

So who are these antisemitic "wise men" that George likes to read?

So he’s antisemitic as well and just generally ignorant and bigoted? No shock there really

Yeah I'm not sure about the rage bait thing, sounds like he's saying they were pushing him into a debate.
But nobody can push George into a debate . Question is...if he never got a warning over the Sam comment, would this have still gotten him ejected??.
But then I think back to Lewis F .

So who are these antisemitic "wise men" that George likes to read?
And to what extent did he understand what he was reading?
To call Friedrich Nietzsche antisemitic would be wrong, and show only a surface level reading of his work, through the edited lense of his sister who wanted to support such ideas ... but it's still something that people think.

Yet, he stands with Israel.
So probably not antisemitic.
Believing that Zionism is a huge global influence and a problem puts him in the same place as 90% of the Labour party, tbh

Yeah exactly seems a bit contradictory,if he's so
' antisemitic ' :skull::conf: .
My thoughts are.....he's not antisemitic, but he has verbal diarrhoea ,and he can't eloquently put his points across.
But it's bizarre if he thinks great leaders have
' antisemitic views' , again what does he mean by this ?.
And I'm not even a fan of George ,but I think he says ignorant stuff without knowing the full facts to everything.

Most on the Left will tell you that being against Zionism and even Israel does not make you antisemitic.

I don't believe him when he says he was " baited" ,he loves an argument. My guess is ...the other housemates probably just disagreed with him ,or tried challenging him.
Out of the ' Wolfpack ' .....I can't see wallpaper Tate piping up ,and Marcus usually just sits in the
background, only one who probably debated him was Bolton Cameron,as he's more mouthy .
…just watching this now but it seems to be an ongoing interview …he doesn’t really mention rage bait as such but just that the evening was very active and lively with debates on many subjects and also including conspiracy theories…he said that he’d like to end anti semitism in this country but to end something, then that would involve asking questions…he went in to say that some of the great minds in history such as Voltaire, Shakespeare, Roald Dahl, Cicero, Henry Ford…maybe some others he named, I can’t recall…anyway, what he considers to some very fine minds had anti semitic tropes…so was there some foundation, was their reasoning sound ….basically saying, does anti semitism exist for a reason….?….‘ no smoke without fire’ is basically what his comments could be interpreted as, surely…?…victim blaming at its absolute finest…

Yep, most Lefties are rabidly anti Zionist
knowing the political leanings of most of the house i'm struggling to understand how he was baited into saying antisemitic stuff
…he didn’t say that he was baited so far as I saw in the vid…he said that it had been a very lively ‘debate’ evening covering lots of subjects and there were many questions being asked…and that maybe he didn’t choose his words carefully because it was all pretty active and he was tired, maybe…but yeah, that kinda feels quite flimsy to me as well…/…what he said…

This deserves the ejection for sure

…yeah I just posted it above but that might be a different version that you have, which would complete it because the interview seemed to be still ongoing live when I was watching…
He interviews terribly and sounds like a Z-tier politician.
He claims this line got him kicked: "Some of the finest minds in human history, such as Cicero, Shakespeare, Voltaire, Henry Ford, Rodale, some of the most intellectual men ever— each held anti-Semitic views in their writing"

…yeah for sure, I think it does tbh…’he’s not saying as a fact’ but he’s asking and pondering that if great minds in history displayed anti semitic tropes then do we look at a ‘no smoke without fire’ view…?…

…honestly, it’s like he reels he doesn’t give any thought to anything but just reels off words from a sheet…it’s the feeling I got when he was in the house, that there seems no depth of thought/opinion, it’s all just surface and say what you see that day in whatever site etc…

It depends on how the comment came in during the conversation and what point he was trying to make if it would fit within that context. I think it's more likely he just brought it up to be provocative. I don't personally think people should be kicked for simple speech. The message it sends to me is that we don't go to BB expecting anything more than kiddy pool depth discourse. This means it will largely favor those who are accustomed to being able to shout utter nonsense as long as it stays "culturally positive". Questioning them directly means that person can easily be pushed towards a rule break. It's very easy to do that, imo
Arguably he was baited but that's comedy as he seems to have intended to put his own head on the pike so to speak so he could be marched around the media circuit after he was inevitably ejected/evicted. So I don't see him as a victim at all and don't think he was silenced for that same reason.
There's many people on Youtube in particular that have long form discussions about the same sensitive discourse that supposedly got him kicked, but in a dignified way, and they can comfortably achieve an audience.
The problem for George here is 1) He's not that great of an orator; His argumentation is honing in on flash points rather than an exchange of ideas/long form discourse ... it's also arguable whether he can handle disagreement.
2) He's on a reality show designed around emphasizing personal drama over substance. So he can pretend all day long he is there to be some high mind, but that's not what the game or the show prioritizes. The same is true for the others as well, they're not there for their supposed high mind lol. ITV BB is built around pandering. HMs are there to say their "piece" which is usually just pandering to popular cultural themes.
That's probably why people like Elsa don't get on better than they should.. All her other faults aside, I think she's likely really intelligent, but she does seem higher in awareness and isn't as accustomed to having her opinions validated like some of the others are.
3) Given 1+2, the producers had every reason to think he was going to just keep starting fires for them to put out and so they had every reason to chuck him if they felt it were heading towards a legal liability if they didn't.
In this interview he is even admitting "I'm not even anti-Semitic!"... and then he also said (paraphrase) "I don't even care about arguing over conspiracy theories because we aren't meant to know the truth anyway, so why bother"... and yet he brings this up, so clearly to try to get more attention... probably from Production.
24/7 live feed sure would've been nice!

Yeah I just watched the full interview, he does himself no favours. Looks like ITV edited out alot aswell.
He says " Hitler was misguided" , that's like saying 'Ted Bundy was just some poor minded helpless dude', instead of the serial killer he actually was !.
And he actually thinks being compared to Andrew Tate is a compliment :skull: :skull:  .

…absolutely…but I have to say that’s how he was beginning to sound in the house as well….very flat and as if he was reading words from a sheet or just throwing words out there that he he actually had no depth of an opinion, just words/phrases that he had adopted as a persona…/that’s how he was feeling to me and it was for me an absolutely correct decision to eject him…

The producers are to blame, they knew what he was like and still decided to put him on the show, despite his views just to lead him getting ejected.. they need to hire back the casting team from CH4 and replace it with the ones they have now
