Sorry to hear about this, Mark. Last month was the anniversary for ours and this sounds very similar to what we went through. Ours had a silent cancer that had taken over by the time we would've learned about it, which was normal for that cancer (https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/hemangiosarcoma-in-dogs/)... and yes, it's a massive blessing they can live so normally up until their time with some conditions, but then also so cruel for us humans because then the loss is more sudden...

The prices actually shocked me !!

Supposedly the prices rocketed during the Covid years when so many were paid to stay at home with their families ( while some of us had to work through) and thousands decided it was a good time to buy a puppy


The increased demand forced the prices up and they have remained at that inflated rate
