With food?
With a drink?
Or just down it?

I usually take soluble paracetamol but if I'm taking tablets, just lots of water

Swallowing it without water is not recommended

Normally with a mouthful of milk as its more viscous than water so the tablets/ capsules slide down easier .. if I’m congested as I am currently then I can only manage to get max strength LemSips down

Only take meds if needed
I’ve been with liquid so have taken them that way but that’s unusual normally with a drink of some kind

Wise …,

I read on some health website that you/we shouldn’t take paracetamol anywhere nwar aa often aa we do …. It’s portrayed as being sooo safe as long as you stay within the guidelines ( 2 every 4 hours, max 8 in 24 hours)

…. BUT some folks can get addicted to paracetamol if you’re taking more than 30 tablets a MONTH !!

( supposedly some people may develop a psychological dependence on it, especially when used for chronic pain or when combined with other substances)

Interestingly I was addicted to Solpadeine many years ago ( codeine and paracetamo)

Luckily or unluckily I only take paracetamol often with ibuprofen at bedtime if the back/ sciatica pain is preventing sleep .

Guess I am fortunate to not being on any other drugs/ tablets

I did have to buy some the other week for the lad. He had a really bad sore throat and it had not got better after like 4 days, rather than bother a doctor we saw the pharmacist who was excellent and his advice and medication was spot on

A Covid denier taking the advice of medical professionals? Weird huh?

Take mine with water and preferably after I’ve eaten.

You should take aspirin and ibuprofen with/after food as far as I know .. not paracetamol though guess it can’t do any harm

I tend to get nausea if I take them on an empty stomach. Just better to take them with something in my belly.
