Yes, I live in the country and my house is old. We use humane traps and set them free on the village common, too far for them to walk home. They are very cute. My cat likes to bring mice in, let them go and watch me try to catch them. He's a little ****.

I’d somehow rather talk about mice this year than BB. The whole series feels BB12-lite in quality.

We used to live next to a quarry and the cats would love nothing more than bringing full-size rats back to us just to show off how ruthless they were :umm2: but never had mice in the house to my knowledge.

That’s the paradox with cats. Their very essence makes mice want to run away from them and G*FO of wherever it is they’re at but they can also bring the cretins to your doorstep as, like, a trophy. A prized hunt. Not good.

Yes, recently. I use live traps also and release them. I've become something of an expert in mouse capture. You have to take them at least 2 miles away or they can find their way back.

I was called to our daughters to catch a rat trapped in their front room ..I won’t go into details but ….

When I released it in the nearby woods rather than the damn thing running away to freedom it hit the ground and ran towards me and up my jeans. !

I screamed and ran for my life !!
