Gave up on BBUK 3 weeks ago so I'm very excited for this, some of my favourite seasons have been BBAU.

That said, how much the house is clearly inspired by the ITV houses makes me nervous. I'm hoping that's where the similarities end.

Judging by their socials, the style is full on ITVBBUK.

I'm hoping it's not edited like UK, I'm sick of the pop song montages!

Also like our house, the finishing touches tend to be on the cowboy side of snagging.

Suprised at how tiny the crowd and staging area is. They used to know how to throw a party and create an electric atmosphere back in the day but now it's so small time...

I stopped watching half way through because the video player is so bad, and honestly it seems gimmicky and cringey. Nothing old school about it... I'll probably get back to it when I can just download videos locally, from whatever source.

Never watched a BBAU series before so I have nothing to compare it to but I really enjoyed the launch & the cast seems to have potential. Definitely some noticeable ITV vibes though.

It does have vibes of ITV BB.. but it’s refreshing to not cringe every time the presenters are on screen :joker:

Eps are gonna be uploaded to the BBAUS Youtube page if that helps

Thought it was a good launch. I like the new host a lot. Everything is very ITV reminisent so far; the house, VTs, the way they came out of the cars.

Just watched the second ep and I'm enjoying it so far. You can tell that they've drawn inspiration from ITV's BB but the vibe doesn't feel too dissimilar from the classic seasons.

Love that they're uploading all the episodes to YouTube, too. Beaaaautiful.

Just got fully caught up, really enjoying it so far. The house dynamics are getting really interesting very fast. Lots of naturally formed tensions already, and I love the whole general production of the show.

I hope Michael goes, he's committed the cardinal sin of being both unlikeable and uninteresting. Holly seems to be the most disliked housemate overall but I think she's making a good villain so far so hopefully Vote to Save keeps her. Don't particularly care if Jane goes either but I would rather Michael.

Mia surviving nominations against all odds :clap1:

Spoilered for anyone who hasn't seen the nominations episode yet. But yeah, very much enjoying this so far which is great after I gave up on this trash series of BBUK weeks ago

Watched the nominations ep. Bruce nominating Coco because he can't handle the sexual temptation was pretty gross - he's a very weird man. Of the three nominees I'd be very happy to see the back of Michael.

Mia is my favourite. Loved seeing her grill Bruce and Michael over their remarks. I do like Colin too but his initially enjoyable personality seems to be diminishing with each passing episode. Not a fan of Bruce at all (obviously) and perhaps controversially I don't care for Conor either.

Really liking this cast as a whole, though. Some funky dynamics and they're all refreshingly outspoken. Loving the production, too. Very much blowing ITV BB out of the water on first impressions.

Really great result, I think Jane and Holly have so much more to offer as housemates, even if I'm not hugely fond of them.

Not sure how I feel about the 'head housemate' twist. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, etc. etc... Everything so far has been very well produced so I'm keeping an open mind, but I'm hoping it doesn't get too messy.

Mia still reigns supreme in my ranking at the moment but I'm liking Allana and Edward too. Emily and Abiola are great but don't seem to be making much of an impression thus far, hopefully they'll get a chance to shine a little later on. I really want to like Coco but I can't be having her pining over Bruce!

Question… do they ever do like, actual tasks?

Interesting! I'd seen this mentioned on BBUK Reddit... It has a 24 hr feed, I think?...
