Maybe it's people who are watching the live feed alongside the highlights.

Or they just like someone who comes across as level headed and well adjusted, up to now at least, on the rare occasion when he's spotted.

I think I posted a thread before where I asked whether the nominations/reasoning could have a Ali v Khaled vibe about them (though obviously the trio are nice about him to his face than Ali was to Khaled) and perhaps that could be steering the vote to a degree as well.

Tate is a likeable, light hearted and surprisingly quick witted guy but seems to attract the ire of other housemates purely by his existence and his lack of interest in political discussion. That's why he's quite popular

I wasn’t expecting him to be at the bottom for those reasons… I wasn’t expecting him at the top because of these reasons alone (funny is a stretch imo)

Maybe from the highlights. Watching the feed, I'd say he's the most interesting. Teja is grumpier on the HLs compared to the feed. Nancy is more interesting on the HLs compared to the feed. Fey is about the same. Personal perception, of course, but that's how I see them.
